The chatter is getting louder and louder now in favor of invoking the 25th amendment against arguably dementia sufferer Donald Trump.

That means the Vice President and the President's cabinet remove the president from office.

The grounds would be incapacity to serve evidenced by pretty much everything Trump has truthed and done in his second term now peaking with his shambolic war against Iran.

This is not a left wing thing at all!

The new president would be JD Vance, a younger and much more mentally capable politician but also a man with a very illiberal anti-democracy ideology.

But invoking the 25th wouldn't be about ideology

It would rather be a matter of national and international survival.
