It doesn't bother me a bit how someone chooses to define him/herself. Up to them. There are a few parts of the so-called woke movement with which I disagree, but none is so egregious that I would lose sleep over them, or decide I must go to the other side of the planet. For example, public bathrooms should change from "Male/Female" to Chimbo/No Chimbo. Everybody wins, nobody feels intimidated. I also like the idea that in some sports, there should be a male and a female division. Here's an example as to why: In 2024 there were more than 2000 high school males in just the USA who ran faster 100 meter times than the Women's Olympic Champion. Kind of unfair to women. Other sports can adjust the way martial arts sports have weight categories, perhaps allowing both male and female. Now if someone like Caitlin Clarke tries out for the Oklahoma Thunder and makes the team, more power to her.

Most of the rest of the folks screaming "WOKE" are just delicate little snowflakes. They ought to cowboy up and just concentrate on their own performance in life. So much of the "Woke" debate stems from the fact that many males fear competition...whether from females or minorities previously held back by racist and misogynist societies. Welcome the competition. Accept the challenge and be the best you can be. Competition against a larger pool raises one's game. Also an issue is that some men think they have the right to define how women should act and behave in a relationship. They call that "traditional", when what they really mean is "control". The need to control stems from the fear of being outshown and out performed, or else lacking the talents to bring things of value to an equal relationship.
