This is not a sincere attempt to end anti-Jewish bigotry and violence. It is a breathtakingly cynical gambit to limit our ability to hold Israel accountable for its ongoing human rights abuses against Palestinians. And Facebook might take the bait.In response to pressure from the Israeli government and its supporters, Facebook is currently reaching out to stakeholders to ask if criticizing Zionists falls within the rubric of hate speech per Facebook’s community standards. In particular, Facebook is weighing whether “Zionist” should be considered a proxy for “Jew” or “Israeli”.
April 2Apr 2 Popular Post It is of extreme importance to differentiate between people protesting against Israel's approach to this war in Gaza, and antisemitism. They are two completely different things, however Israel is an extremely thin skinned nation, and very intolerant of any sort of criticism. As a Jew I know that many Jews are thin-skinned when it comes to any sort of criticism of Israel, and it's often interpreted as being anti-semitic.I've been called a Jew hater for criticizing Israeli policy so I know how sensitive the issue can be, and it's very important to interpret it correctly. Jews and all people have the right to be critical of Israeli policy, especially now that the extremists have taken over, gotten the support of a hateful PM, and are engaging in what could be called a ridiculously disproportionate campaign against the Gazans. And now Lebanon and Iran. Israel are warmonges. Period. Many call it genocide. And it would appear as though their goal is in trying to erase the Palestinian population.Israel must be very careful at this point as they are losing support around the world, by the day it's gotten to the point where there are very few nations who are still supportive of Israel, and the IDF. If the US withdrew it's support, it would put them in dire straits, and very isolated. And we might be looking at a failed state. They deserve that, in my opinion. I believe all the lessons of the Holocaust have been forgotten within the current very sad state of affairs in Israel.Am I a Jew hater? Absolutely not, as I have many Jewish friends and family that I adore. Do I hate Israel? Certainly not the people, but I do hate the current Israeli government. Much as I hate the current American government, it doesn't make me an America hater, though the fake patriots on this forum would argue otherwise.

Actually, there are statistics proving this that I could find later.

If they are guilty of such, legally so are the IDF members that carried out the orders, and/or aided and abetted the committing of such.

April 2Apr 2 Author 34 minutes ago, VocalNeal said:Who exactly are the Semites and why does Judaism think it is only them and that they can hijack/monopolize the terminology? This has been explained a half-dozen times before, but I am happy to do it again.Bottomline: The use of the word "Semite" to refer to an imaginary ethnic group that included both Jews and Arabs is outdated. The Encyclopedia Britannica explains it this way (my bold text): "Semite, obsolete term, popularized in the 19th century, that originally described a member of any people who speak one of the Semitic languages, a family of languages that includes Arabic, Hebrew, Amharic, Aramaic, and Tigrinya, among others. The term was later used in an ethnic sense, even though there has never been a shared Semitic identity among Semitic-speaking peoples. When used in that sense, Semite often referred specifically to people of Jewish origin, regardless of what language they spoke, a reflection of the antisemitism that was concurrent in 19th-century Europe." https://www.britannica.com/topic/Semite "Antisemitism" has in the English language only ever referred to a hatred of Jews and never to a hatred of Arabs or other ethnic groups. The word "anti-Semitism" or "antisemitism" entered the English language in1881 from the German Antisemitismus, which had been coined by Wilhelm Marr, a German journalist and agitator who thought it sounded more scientific and academic than the older Judenhaß ("Jew hatred"). Marr himself is regarded as the "father of modern antisemitism," although he apparently renounced his anti-Jewish beliefs as an old man. https://njop.org/the-origin-of-word-anti-semitism/A book has been written about him, published by no less than the Oxford University Press.https://www.amazon.com/Wilhelm-Marr-Patriarch-Anti-Semitism-Studies/dp/0195040058Vad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, has issued this brief video on Marr and the origin of the word "antisemitism."

Are all Muslims responsible for the actions of the Iranian armed forces?Nothing the same. Thailand is not a country established only for Buddhists. There are not roads that Muslims can't use or discrimination against them. Also they are Theravada, which here is a mix of Hinduism, Buddhism, Animism and Fetishism. Japan are more Zen, Nicheren and other sects.Surely you know about the Israel lobby in the USA and that many Jews donate to Israel, get Israeli citizenship and have family ties there. Totally flawed comparison.

I practice a more wide-ranging universal form of spirituality, that incorporates various elements of Buddhism, Hinduism and Christianity.

It shows a strong sense of spirituality from within the family which isn't satisfied though Talmudic dogma. Of course, the same applies to many guys who came from Christian and secular families as well.
