I just realized I'm not entirely fair with my Grab Food driver tips

Featured Replies

I don't even see the Grab drivers who bring me food. As long as they don't delay, place the food on the delivery table with my condo number clearly written on it as instructed and send me a picture, they get my standard tip, which is based on distance not order value. I don't overthink this and I'm sure they don't either.

No way do they make 100 deliveries a day. If each round trip was only 10 minutes, it would take over 16Hours to do 100 trips!

I usually do tip but when I was in Pattaya two weeks ago late on a Sunday night , I ordered Subway at my hotel I was quite prepared to give him a 100 baht tip if he brought it up to my hotel room But.

Just the bottle, but it is the thought that counts.

Always tip by local standards and don't act up just because of a good exchange rate. It is a responsability to do as such, towards the other locals in Thailand as not to create any kinds of inflation.
