iherb; Can Not Open Website

Featured Replies

Can anybody here in Thailand open the "iHerb" website?

I've tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge but the site will not download.

No similar problem downloading other websites. Any workarounds? Not particularly technical.

Me neither. Must be a crap site.

Works fine for me, Chrome, Windows 11

Any change since your last post on this 3 weeks ago?

I tried the workarounds that I understood. I left router settings alone as I would probably mess it up.

No problem here (currently on mobile).

I enter

iherb.com

and be redirected to

th.iherb.com

Some "security SW" (Antivirus package) / script blocker might be in the way?

Using iherb since years without a problem. Last shipment received last week.

I used the Iherb app on android. Placed an order last time and to my surprise it arrived in 4 days to CNX. It came from their warehouse in S. Korea. Depending on what is ordered it may come from S. Korea.

So you see nothing / spinning wheel forever or the like.

No error message ?

Things have changed a lot, and now you cannot order directly from the US site, but only through the TH website. Now we are stuck paying duty and tax on any amount. We no longer get the duty-free exemption up to 1500 baht... but we are still paying full US shipping costs. For many years, I used to get most shipments well past that amount through without paying duty, and free shipping on orders over a certain dollar value.

I've found that most items are now available on Lazada and Shopee, so it's worthwhile to compare prices before you order from the iHerb TH site.

Duty and tax are included in the prices. Shipment is from 40$ total.

Since longer the shipment was not done from the US but from South Korea. Arrives in about 5 days.

Much faster than before.

Duty and tax rules have been changed by Thailand.

Legally no way around.

If they send without paying tax and duty.then you would have to pay before receiving.

I also have this problem most of the time, with Opera, Safari and Firefox browsers.

My workaround is opening a private window in Opera and turning on the built-in VPN.

A bit slower, but it does the job.

Well, that explains why they are now adding Duty to all orders under 1500 baht, but that exemption ended on Jan 1, 2026, and they were charging me duty on all my orders last year, too.
