Joe Biden was warned about inflaton.

You need to stop commenting on topics that are over your progressive pointed head.

As you already know, the main component of US inflation index increase at that time, apart from oil price, was housing (around 37%). The increase was not particularly caused by Biden, rather by the fact that not enough houses had been build, in particular during the pandemic. Moreover, the weight of housing in the CPI is artificial, as it counts people owning houses as if they had to pay a rent (what they obviously don't).

The opinion pieces you linked ignored that point.

You don't spend much time back there so you're just speaking anecdotally, and it means absolutely nothing, it's the exact opposite of boots on the ground information.

Qualifies for the troll of the week, but of course no surprise, coming from you.
The topic is inflation today, not next year, not even next month, when it will be worse, because your MAGA master fails in everything he touches.

Iran war oil shock pushes US inflation to 3.3%. It’s expected to get worse

A war-driven jump in gas prices helped push US inflation to 3.3% in March, marking the fastest annual pace in nearly two years, new Bureau of Labor Statistics data showed Friday.

On a monthly basis, prices rose 0.9%, triple the 0.3% pace seen in February, when inflation was 2.4%, the latest Consumer Price Index data showed.

Gasoline prices, which rose a record 21.2% during the month, accounted for nearly three-quarters of the overall monthly increase.

Economists had expected prices to jump 0.9% from the month before and for the annual rate to climb to 3.4%, according to FactSet.

Of course, it is all lies, according to your MAGA leader

https://finance.yahoo.com/economy/article/trump-team-dismisses-hot-inflation-print-promising-energy-shocks-will-very-very-quickly-go-away-151345732.html

Trump team dismisses hot inflation print, promising energy shocks will 'very, very quickly go away'

The White House largely focused on that latter figure. Deputy press secretary Kush Desai said the economy “remains on a solid trajectory,” while acknowledging in a statement that food and gas prices were higher.

He pointed to year-over-year drops in specific goods, from eggs to prescription drugs to televisions, that he said “are falling or remain stable thanks to President Trump’s policies.”

On Thursday, Hassett said in another Fox appearance that the economic effects of the war are “a temporary distraction that will very, very quickly go away.”

But there are plenty of reasons to expect that the economic effects will be felt for some time. The Strait of Hormuz remains effectively closed despite Trump’s threats, and economists have long noted that gas prices tend to go “up like a rocket and down like a feather.”

Well at the rate of inflation now going up and with zero progress on the "excursion" negotiations, wait until the Fed increases the rate versus lowering the rate. Should really drive Trump over the end! IMHO.

Well, I consider your thread trolling because we are in the midst of a crisis.

Maybe wait for the dust to settle.

Or don't.

But I'm out of this silly thread.

I'm not in denial about anything.

Most people (myself included) can only grasp 2% of geopolitics because it's way too complicated and there are too many things going on behind the scenes that we are not told and because the media is full of bs.

You're in denial if you think you can look at the cost of oil while the Strait of Hormuz is barely open and make sense of anything.

The effects of the war will have major reverberations for many years. No one knows what's "good" or "bad". Iran may be better off. A lot of things may be better off. Or worse off too maybe.

You don't know. I don't know. No one knows.

Here, read this and you can start to try to guess how interconnected the whole planet is beneath the surface with all sorts of shadowy organizations operating behind the scene and undermining countries and entire continents that never gets discussed in the media.

Did you know that groups in Iran were connected to druglords and destabilizing Latin America? Trump wanted to go after the cartels. Now there is a link between Iran and the cartels.

My point is there are too many complexities going on. And nobody understands enough to determine if this war was justified or not.

As cartel violence grips Mexico following the death of a top drug lord, experts tell Iran International that Tehran-linked networks may be intertwined with the criminal infrastructure fueling instability across Latin America.

Keep up the good work, Donald, you're doing great!thumbsup

More good news, they just keep coming in. More winning!

'War Has Caused Lasting Damage to the Dollar System'

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-04-09/war-has-caused-lasting-damage-to-the-dollar-system-macroscope-mnrlrgh4

https://archive.ph/5lBR1

" If the US is no longer seen as reliable a guarantor of stability and security, then there is a diminishing incentive to trade in dollars and recycle them back into the US. The dollar carousel that has underpinned the global monetary system is coming under increasingly grave strain.

Common knowledge is often what it to takes to upset accepted norms and overturn ingrained thinking patterns. After the unilateral actions of the US in the Iran war, everyone now knows that everyone knows the rules of the game have changed."

And here's what the expert actually said (from your linked article): 😃

“I don’t have direct evidence their intelligence would be involved in helping the cartel push back against the Mexican state,” he said. “But I do believe the Iranian regime would want to benefit very much from increasing the turmoil in Mexico.”

According to this guy, US oil exports are at an all-time high of 5 million barrels a day. Nobody saw this coming.

Because guys who hate America and Trump are unhappy 24/7. If it wasn't oil it would be something else. They have no fun in their lives. They were born to complain.

As i said before higher inflation leads to a weaker baht. More good news to enjoy life. It's not my fault you are unhappy with US inflation. Your problem.

It was up a point to 3.3% for March, which still almost two percent less than the average under Biden, yes?

Welcome back. How is the war going for you guys? No Navy, No Air Force, No AD, no economy...your heroes are only alive because we let them live. Back to inflation. What is it now and what was it on Bidens last day in office?

Play nice. Dont let your obsession make you hysterically spew

I read your claim. Your reasoning is that the feds will raise interest rates which will increase the value of the dollar. What you've skipped is that fact that higher inflation tends to decrease the value of a currency. So raising the interest rates may slow the decrease in value, keep the value more or less the same, or increase it.

Do you think they ever have fun in life? Misery daily. The baht is 4 to 8% weaker against farang money this year. That is a plus!
