Download Manager For Use With Rapidshare

Featured Replies

Despite having broadband I cannot download from Rapidshare after say

10 o'clock in the morning.

Perhaps another user comes online then and hogs all the bandwidth.

I try to download and after about 15 minutes of very slow downloading

it just hangs and I have to start again.

Is there a download manager available that will enable me to download

from Rapidshare with their password control and pick up from where it

left off when it hung up?

thanks for any help.

Unless you purchase a premium account Rapidshare does not allow the use of download managers or enable resume of stopped downloads. I don't believe there is any way round this limitation.

If you do have a premium account I find that Free Download Manager (FDM) http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ works nicely.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

I use FDM with a premium RS account too.

Works fine ^^

Thanks very much gentlemen. Looks like I'll have to get up early to download.

The other bloke logged on at 9.15 this morning and my downloads stopped dead

at that time and despite restarting the machine in case there was a problem

I can't download anything now that takes longer than 5 minutes, it justs hangs up.
