The end of Pepsi as we knew it!

It's gone, the Pepsi we knew and loved has gone.

We've drunk it all our lives and now it's gone forever.

Full sugar original Pepsi (blue top)

Now replaced by low sugar Pepsi (white top) and diet Pepsi (black top).

Obviously neither of which taste anything like as good as the traditional Pepsi.

Are you speaking as a person with high blood sugar and no teeth? A can of Pepsi (355ml) contains 41g. of sugar.

I always found it interesting that most people who liked Pepsi could drink Coke and enjoy it if that's all that was available. On the other hand, Coke drinkers would rather drink room temperature hors

If the only thing missing is the sugar content, why not put a spoon or two extra sugar into the glass or bottle? You are a big boy, you can do it. On holidays, use Mentos, it will be fun.

Better if you suck a Mentos, then take a large swig of Pepsi/Coke.

Tastes much better ..... you should all try it!

The tastes very slightly from country to country. In Thailand I prefer Pepsi.

To your comment about sugar content I was told the white topped Pepsi indicated it was a recycled bottle, not a reduced amount of sugar. Certainly from the taste I do not detect reduced sugar.

Says on the label .... reduced sugar.

Est – from the former Pepsi distributor – is a useable alternative to original Pepsi, Est even comes in nostalgic .25 glass bottles...😋

Get enough amino acids/protein, helps build tissue. You should aim for at least 115g protein per day at your weight.

I also have a hassle with my body regulating my weight too much. You can also buy mass gainer protein powder at the pharmacy. Contains a lot of carbs, good when you’re underweight AND exercise.

Long, long ago (mid 90's) I was exploring Incheon, Korea with a mate, Jason Thomas, on a hot summer Sunday afternoon.

We had just located the Incheon Landings plaque, which even then was in the middle of the city, when we espyed a Coke machine!

Perfect!

Coins were inserted and out popped a can!

Sadly, the refrigeration of the machine had failed and said can wasn't just warm, it was hot!

Thirst took over and the can was opened!

Even Coke, when hot, tastes like warm horse piss!

The can joined several others in the bin that was thoughtfully provided next to the machine.

I have a view that Pepsi and Coke take the piss. The only people I see drinking Diet versions are fat <deleted>. I believe Diet stuff is full of calories and the normsl version none.

Our local bottle shop has stock of blue top 😊

I'm a Coke drinker but my UK daughter required Pepsi, we still have most of a case of it left. It's ok with a large Captain Morgan (two pack on offer in Lotus's) and loads of ice.

I'm one of those that can definitely taste the difference between Coke and warm horse piss.

EDIT I just checked our Blue-Top it says 5.6% sugar.

My Thai daughter in law only drinks Pepsi. Offer her coke as an aletrenative and she politely avoids taking the coke. She is politely adamant Pepsi (for her) is a better smoother, less gassy taste.

All of her 4 kids folllow her choice and always buy pepsi for Christmas, New Year, mummy's birthday, s, Thai new Year gifts always a six pack of original Pepsi for mummy.

Pepsi Max is the best... you're just addicted to sugar...Pepsi has also released more sugar free flavours, as well as 2 types of sugar free Liptons ice tea..I Iike the sparkling version.

Tried adding a teaspoon of sugar to the white top .........

Pepsi explosion, about half the glass overflowed in a fizzy fountain!

Good idea from the poster suggesting it, complete sticky failure in implementation.

It's reassuring people aren't completely stupid, and PepsiCo isn't very consumer savvy. Jacking up prices on their products. We even stopped buying Doritos, as just silly expensive, along with we ate too many, and they really are unhealthy as a common snack 🙄

Saw this short, and asked AI to verify. Can only push consumers so far.

Sugar is best adding to still fruit juice if they take the sugar out

I don't drink sodas very often, but every once in awhile I'll drink an RC cola. It brings me back to my youth and tastes better than Coke or Pepsi to me.

Plus Villa sells them in smaller bottles so I can finish it in one sitting.
