The Pentagon has revealed a $1.5 trillion defence budget for next year – a nearly 50% jump in spending to fund Donald Trump’s new projects.

The massive bill, first reported by the Washington Post, is unlikely to get the green light from Congress.

If it does pass, it would provide funding for dozens of Trump’s military plans, including a new ‘Golden Fleet’ Navy battleship and an eyewatering $18 billion for a ‘Golden Dome’ missile defence system.

The massive spending budget, if passed, would mark the largest military funding request from the Pentagon since the Cold War.

The budget will need to be passed through Congress - but will likely face harsh opposition.

Will the USA keep adding to its national debt forever? Isn't there an economist in the White House? The whole world is heading for a crisis.

If USA military wasn't scattered across the world, prepped to defend the war that's never going to happen, the Pentagon budget would be miniscule. Imagine all the CSGs, AF & Army all at US ports & bases, guarding US borders & seas.

Just image 4 CSGs on both the East & West coast, 1 in the Gulf, and 2 at Alaska. The Southern border lined with the Army and assisting ICE with deportations. 20+ million illegals gone and no more arriving. Tax $$$ well spent on the USA.

They're printing money they don't have. Only the Chinese are giving them credit and are the only country with the means to manage their national debt.

Put that money into social services and stay the <deleted> at home, you warmongers.
