How can I stop comments in my list. I don't mind members quoting MY posts, but not others.

Screenshot always helps to convey what you are referring to ?

In my list is a notification in my list is BKKB09 replying to Pib, about something I never posted.

Screenshot is not possible on my PC without a camera.

If windows, there's a couple ways to get a screenshot; shortcut 'prt scn' key, or you could press 'window key / shift / S', capture and paste to what ever, or put in paint app, edit and or save, the upload.

Use the Snipping Tool if running Windows.

Linux and Apple have similar tools.

Yes, sorry, I do know that.

But I would find it so much better if I could have the option to delete Quotes and Comments once I have read them.

Can anyone please tell me how I can only get Comments or Quotes regarding my own posts.

I don't need to know that Joseph Bloggs commented on something Jack Shoot posted months ago. Been through the Notification settings but no luck.

you could simply click on your profile, then 'see my activity', and that will bring up all you posts.

I do not want to see all MY previous posts, I know how to do that. But just logged in to see 17 notifications telling me that somebody has reacted to someone elses post. This is what I want to stop, I only need to see who has Quoted or Reacted to ME ONLY.

I don't get informed of other people's posts unless I'm following that thread. Without a screenshot it's hard to tell if that's the issue.

You see the top right , there is a button " Follow " hit that and it gives you options to follow people or not and a few other options.

are you following the thread or threads ? That might be why you get those notifications.

It doesn't seem to matter how I look at a post, the same notifications from unknown people about unknown others still appear.

The notifications are to tell you that someone has reacted to a post you made in that thread. You can play about with notifications here:

Strange. I dont receive anything like what you do unless I follow a thread. Usually only follow a thread if its one I started.

I don't know what I have done, but I am getting no Notifications from anyone now.

All I want are those who reply/disagree/like my posts.

All Notifications seem to have returned.
