Iran executes detainee of the 2022 'Woman, Life, Freedom' movement

Iran's judiciary announced on Sunday that it had carried out the death execution of Mehrab Abdollahzadeh, a man arrested during 2022 protest movement, launched after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in Iran's morality police custody.

Iran has been very good at propaganda but it's important to continue to realize what kind of regime we're dealing with there. Close military ally with genocidal dictator Putin. sponsor of many proxy terror groups globally for many decades, only still in power because their willing to murder as many of their own people as necessary.

Iran is a ruthless authoritarian state. I can certain see why Russia enjoys their company.

Iran has the highest per capita execution rates of any country. Needless to say, I'm a vocal opponent of capital punishment.

In fact, I can't recall any country shooting its own unarmed citizens in cold blood. It appears there were ~30,000 deaths. The wounded who sought medical help were arrested.

It would appear that all Iranians aren't completely brainwashed although, as in any country, there must be those who support the govt.

In a country so completely controlled by the state where one can be executed on the flimsiest excuse, it pays not to speak out...about anything.

And Iran supports the Hezbollah terrorists. Frankly, I can't see a motive for doing so.

Iran is run by a lot of heinous freaks and so called religious men, who know nothing about spirituality. Zero. We all know that. Few sympathize with their leadership.

But the same could be said about Russia, China, North Korea and many other countries. What are we doing about that, and what is the plan with Iran, and is there an end game, or is this another one of those American Forever Wars?

Like the kind that the goon promised to never get us involved in. By the way, so far I haven't seen Iran bombing any American schools.
