The Meteorological Department of Thailand has warned many areas in eastern Thailand of heavy rainfall during this period. The department has asked people in the risky areas of Prachin Buri (ปราจีนบุรี), Sa Kaeo (สระแก้ว), Chachoengsao (ฉะเชิงเทรา), Chon Buri (ชลบุรี), Rayong (ระยอง), Chanthaburi (จันทบุรี) and Trat (ตราด) of potential natural disasters, namely, flash flood and forest flood in the following couple of days.

Meanwhile, high waves of about two meters are expected along the coastal areas from Chumphon () to Samut Prakan provinces, and seafarers need to be more careful when sailing.
