Weather Alert: Potential Floods In Thailand's Eastern Provinces

Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat are warned of flash flood and forest flood

The Meteorological Department of Thailand has warned many areas in eastern Thailand of heavy rainfall during this period. The department has asked people in the risky areas of Prachin Buri (ปราจีนบุรี), Sa Kaeo (สระแก้ว), Chachoengsao (ฉะเชิงเทรา), Chon Buri (ชลบุรี), Rayong (ระยอง), Chanthaburi (จันทบุรี) and Trat (ตราด) of potential natural disasters, namely, flash flood and forest flood in the following couple of days.

Meanwhile, high waves of about two meters are expected along the coastal areas from Chumphon () to Samut Prakan provinces, and seafarers need to be more careful when sailing.

Chanthaburi warned of flash flood and forest flood

The Meteorological Department of Thailand has warned many areas in eastern Thailand of heavy rainfall during this period. The department has asked people in the risky areas of Chanthaburi of potential natural disasters, namely, flash flood and forest flood in the following couple of days.

Should provide some interesting times during the white-water rafting there this weekend.
