russia runs out of gasoline

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

For more than two decades, the Kremlin has projected Russia as the world’s indispensable energy superpower. Oil and gas revenues funded military expansion, sustained the federal budget and underpinned Moscow’s geopolitical influence.

Cheap fuel was not simply an economic advantage; it became part of the national identity and a symbol of Russian strength.

Today, that image is beginning to crack.

Across multiple Russian regions, motorists are encountering fuel shortages, purchase limits and rapidly rising prices. In some areas, premium petrol has climbed to 159 rubles per litre—more than US$8 per gallon—with prices continuing to rise as supply struggles to meet demand.

For a country that built much of its modern economy on exporting fuel, it is an extraordinary reversal.

Hilarious' the gas tank is reduced to begging for fuel from the few remaining allies it has, a super power being dismantled by $500 drones and home made Flamingoes.🤔

What is hilarious is that some gullible fools actually believe the propaganda.

I have friends who live on Crimea. The shortages are real. What evidence do you have to show otherwise?

If only gullible fools believe Russia has a fuel shortage problem, then Vladimir Putin is clearly one of those fools.

See the Reuters report below.

Russia's Putin acknowledges fuel shortages, task force set up to ensure supplies

Putin, ‌addressing a meeting of senior officials on fuel supply and distribution, said Russia had to minimize the effects of Ukrainian drone strikes on oil installations linked to the shortages.

"You are well aware that problems for drivers and for businesses persist," Putin told the meeting, according to accounts published by Russian news agencies. "Unfortunately, there are still queues at gas stations too."

Crimea is a small part of Russia.

With the strait of Hormuz still being 'problematic' everyone else will be 'running out of gasoline' well before Russia does 😄

all these attacks will do is speed up the demise of what is left of Ukraine, IMHO.

You claimed that it was propaganda. I guess you've had to swallow that one.

Russia is not at war with just Ukraine it is at war with the US/UK/EU

proxies/allies too...they keep poking the bear and soon enough the bear will retaliate.

Of course its propaganda that's what they do in war..the claim was that 'RUSSIA runs out of gasoline' which is clearly nonsense.

what makes you think i disagree?

he has nothing to retaliate with though. he should call trump and cut his losses.

Trump is irrelevant I think Putin has probably finally realised that any agreement with Trump is worthless his statements about the talks in Anchorage suggest he will now go for a total military victory

instead of any more talking..

Why you think Putin has nothing to retaliate with is quite baffling the production of shells/bullets in Russia out performs the entire UK/EU/US/NATO by 5 times just one example.

Russia will retaliate against some NATO countries for their direct involvement in attacks.

The NATO media will spin it as the desperate actions by a failing president as opposed to Russia restoring its deterrence.

The conclusion will therefore not be to back off, but to continue the attacks.

Zelensky, Starmer, Macron, Merz (ex-BlackRock) are working for the military (and financial) industrial complex.
Sending taxpayer money to the black hole that is the UKraine.

The 4x2s (Zelensky is a small hat) also benefit:

Over a million Christian soldiers killed in Ukraine AND the Christian Russian soldiers...

Next up conscription?

They have no literally run out.

There are real shortages and the reason for that is Ukraine's effective attacks.

Fully run out? Of course not.

You do realize that an anonymous person online that has chosen to call themselves IsmeUno writing 'I have friends that live on Crimea' isn't any evidence whatsoever, right ?

I hope these 'friends in Crimea' didn't double reverse +4 you. 🙄

If I may ask, how did you come to that conclusion? Serious question.

He doesn't mention Jews, Israel, the Middle-East, Nazis, etc etc. There's doesn't appear to be anything at all in post that could be seen as Jew hating. 🤔

yeah and they cant beat a rag tag bunch of banderites....

This time the 'Banderites' have the backing of the US/UK/EU/NATO

Their aim to balkanize Russia after regime change, once the last Ukrainian is used up they will conscript the Europeans to continue the foolish errand...the last lot of 'Banderites' that took on Russia eventually lost and I'm pretty sure this new lot will too.

its now importing gasolene

Analysts warn that a supply deficit is looming as U.S. gasoline demand has remained robust despite U.S. pump prices having surged roughly 40% since the war started, hovering above $4. Also, some analysts are worried that U.S. refineries may not be able to keep running close to capacity, noting that there have been more unplanned outages than expected lately.

Kiev in 3 days by bicycle now Vlad on a new SMO' "SLOW MILITARY OPERATION"🤔

Time for Putin and his close mates to bring

back a few of the billions stashed outside?

Never happen of course

They ran out of gas due to the war crimes of Ukraine who has been bombing the oil refineries around moscow. The Geneva rules of war are very clear on the issue - no infrastructures like power plants, refineries, hospitals etc can be bombed and if so, it is a war crime. For sure, Russia is not better, we agree. But Russia has nukes et not Ukraine. And Europe is foolishly creating an escalation of the war in supplying money and weapons to Ukraine.

Blowing up oil refineries is not a war crime. It's how counties win wars.

you are wrong as there is heated debated in the academics on the issue as it harms primarily civilians. the military will always get their access to the fuel but it will be at the expense of civilians. Consequently, any direct or indirect harm to civilians is thus considered war crime. You are welcome have a nice week-end.
