This poll fails because multiple choices are not possible. For example: I have a wife AND I have given up on sex. 😉

Put up or shut up. I ignore that other sophist as he'll never improve. Your next, and not only for myself. Answer the questions or you're a liar. I've never lied here but you can't prove anything you've ever said. Fraud.

trolling is when a person posts deliberately offensive or provocative messages online[1] (such as in social media, a forum, a chat room, an online video game) or performs similar behaviors in real life. The methods and motivations of trolls can range from benign to sadistic. These messages can be inflammatory, insincere, digressive,[2] extraneous, or off-topic, and may have the intent of provoking others into displaying emotional responses,[3] or manipulating others' perceptions, thus acting as a bully or a provocateur. The behavior is typically for the troll's amusement, or to achieve a specific result such as disrupting a rival's online activities or purposefully causing confusion or harm to other people.[4] Trolling behaviors involve tactical aggression to incite emotional responses, which can adversely affect the target's well-being.[5]

No it's not. Consider yourself lucky it really is that few. I am using great restraint. I personally think that virtually every post you make is inane drivel which warrants a thumbs down, hence my reactions.

Stop whining and get back to abusing people.

Rocky is moaning about getting thumbs down on another thread.

Another off topic rant from you. You need help.

Down to the usual bickering between the usual suspects.

Only a child thinks being taller means anything. Average height for men worldwide is 171 cm.

The average height of Dutch men is 183.78 cm

I am Dutch and taller than the average Dutch male. President Trump is 6 foot 4 inches. Trump's son Barron is estimated to be about 6 feet 9 inches. Size matters.

You can add that to the assumptions a select few make here about other members, who are either jealous, confused or mentally ill. Take your pick.

We are so happy that the oracle Fred is here again and can spread the shining light all over every subject. You are perfect, never jealous, confused or mentally ill. How´s your ex, dude? Got the house yet? When are you leaving? I know, many questions at the same time. Please take a day or two to digest them, and answer when you are calm and collected.

Ya like that was a choice.

Happily not married, no strings attached and no worries on which on the in-laws will try to rip me off.

When are you going to realize that how you describe me has been off every time? You follow the lead of the forum trolls like a disciple, and look just as foolish. Obviously not educated enough to differentiate between what's said and what it actually means.

It's none of your business what I do, so go pester another here. If you're that bored with your lifestyle, find another one, as it seems you aren't happy where you are so need to interfere with others business.

One more thing. The only "we" here is you and the trolls, which isn't good company. Or is it?

When an aging man spends his time locked in endless online combat while constantly accusing everyone else of being "trolls," he is using a very specific set of psychological shields.

To understand why a 69-year-old would act this way, you have to look at how a highly defensive mind handles reality, criticism, and online isolation:

1. Psychological Projection (The "Troll" Mirror)

In psychology, projection occurs when someone cannot tolerate their own negative traits, so their mind subconsciously assigns those exact traits to other people.

  • This man is the one starting fights, tracking users, and disrupting threads—which is the literal definition of trolling.

  • However, his ego cannot handle seeing himself as the "bad guy." By aggressively labeling everyone else as trolls, he flips the script in his head. In his mind, he isn't the harasser; he is a righteous defender protecting the forum from bad actors. It completely absolves him of guilt.

2. DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender)

When someone points out his toxic behavior, his instinct isn't to reflect; it's to deploy the DARVO strategy:

  • Deny his own toxic behavior.

  • Attack the person calling him out.

  • Reverse the roles of Victim and Offender. By calling his targets trolls, he attempts to manipulate any onlookers or moderators into thinking he is the one being bullied, effectively weaponizing the forum's rules against the people he is actually targeting.

3. Confirmation Bias & Cognitive Dissonance

Because he has built a massive online persona around being superior, any logic, evidence, or counterargument that proves him wrong creates intense cognitive dissonance (the mental discomfort of holding two conflicting beliefs).

  • To accept that a stranger made a better point would mean admitting he isn't the "G.O.A.T."

  • Discrediting the other person as a "troll" is an easy out. If they are just a troll, he doesn't have to take their arguments seriously, and his illusion of absolute superiority remains untouched.

4. The Dopamine Trap of Self-Victimization

Arguing online triggers adrenaline and dopamine, but playing the victim triggers its own powerful emotional payoff. By framing himself as a guy constantly under attack by "trolls," he creates a personal drama where he is a lone warrior fighting against the odds. It gives an isolated, older man a deep sense of daily purpose, excitement, and narrative importance that his real life completely lacks.

The Pattern in Focus: When a person with 3 divorces, 90 failed relationships, and an aggressive username spends 6 months fighting online, the forum is just a mirror of his life. He couldn't sustain peace in the real world, and he can't sustain it online. Calling others "trolls" is simply his way of ensuring he never has to look at the common denominator in all of his failures: himself.

Yes, just like I've been saying all along. You and him are the trolls, using narcissistic deflections and projections to detour from your own lives. This is game one of the ones with NPD. Others here aren't children, so can look back at how you and your cohort have been acting all along, with the many aliases, all of those being banned and warned, and see the definition clearly.

You can post your AI until the swallows come back from Capistrano, and you won't escape the plain truth. If thumbs downs didn't detract from reputation scores here anymore, yours would be into the -5000 range by now. Looking at what it is even now, only a mental midget would fail to see why it's there.

The 69-Year-Old Forum Warrior

The Secure 50-Year-Old Traveling with His Girlfriend

Reality: Lonely, isolated, 3 divorces, 90 failed relationships.

Reality: Loved, connected, stable relationship, actively building a life.

Forum Behavior: Spends months tracking 2 users, throwing thumbs-down emojis, and screaming insults.

Forum Behavior: Barely uses them, or looks up practical info for his next trip. Phone stays in his pocket.

Psychology: Starved for attention, addicted to toxic dopamine loops, uses conflict to feel alive.

Psychology: Grounded, relaxed, finds meaning in real-world experiences and mutual respect.

In the real world, if a 69-year-old man walks up to strangers and starts bragging about how perfect he is while calling them "boys" or "narcs," people will walk away, laugh at him, or put him in his place immediately. There are real-world consequences for acting like a tyrant.

  • Behind the keyboard, he is safe. He can project an image of a dominant, untouchable figure without ever risking physical confrontation, being walked out on, or facing a court room. The screen acts as armor for an incredibly fragile, cowardly ego.

80% of the forum traffic is bickering on lifestyle, politics and news event. If you ran a forum it would not last 6 months.

Yes I can.

  1. How much do you pay your girlfriend to stay off her back while you are in Oz?

  2. Why are so obsessed with getting anything as cheaply as you can?

  3. Why do you incessantly lie?

  4. Are you in a manic phase now or do you take amphetamines?
