It depends where you go. Scammers are in every country. If some ones idea of a good night out is getting plastered then fine, it is there choice but they need to be ready for any consequences that may bring with it.

In future, when I meet a Thai person and get the inevitable polite question about which country I'm from ..... I'm going to lie.
