Is it possible to get a Re-entry stamp for a 3 month "O" Visa?

I'm getting my visa in KL on Oct. 2, but I need to go to China for 3 days on Oct. 20.

I will try to get a Multiple entry Visa in KL.. but I'm not sure that they will give me one.

So, if I have only a Single entry visa, will I need to get a tourist on arrival, after returning from China and then go back to KL to get another "O" ?

I won't be ble to get an "O" 1-year extension until after 2007 Tax filing in Jan/Feb.

Any feedback would be appreciated and helpful.

Thanks,

CS

my situation is almost as described by Lite Beer, except the fact that i get my 3 months Non-0 (single entry) visa in bangkok!

the re entry will allow me to get 90days or just 30??

A re-entry permit only keeps your current permitted to stay until date alive - it does not add anything to that time. It is used to travel/return during the period of your stay without having to start over. It is used with a valid entry permitted to stay stamp and will have the same date on it.
