It was in Romanian airspace because it was knocked off course when it was in Ukrainian airspace and intent is indeed relevant. The target WASN'T the apartment building.

Yada yada yada. Again irrelevant...

Good argument. You know you're wrong. Tell me why it's irrelevant. The drone was heading toward a target in Ukraine and was knocked off course resulting in it going into Romania and hitting an apartment building. What don't you understand about this. Fact is civilians get killed by drones being knocked off course on both sides and you can add missile debris from missiles that have been destroyed in flight to that.

If it can be knocked off course (and nobody believes that) and enter another country's airspace it was too close. No GPS? No course correction? Typical low quality Russian engineering.

Let me pick this apart. A: "Nobody believes that" nobody except the PM of Romania I guess. Drones can be knocked off course either kinetically or with an EW attack. B: "close to border". Do you think then that targets within a border yet close to the border of a neibouring country shouldn't be targeted. This is a war you know (police action according to Putin). As for "Typical low quality Russian engineering' you do realise that design and engineering is of the Iranian (Shahed drone)? Indeed it's been upgraded somewhat from the original but chances are these upgrades have been shared back with Iran.

If you don't know what the Russian version of the Iranian Shahed drone is called and how Russia has upgraded them that down to you. And yes, police operation was wrong it's a "special military operation". Korea/Vietnam "police actions" Ukraine special military operation.

There is basically one type of Russian drone used for long range one way strikes. If you don't know what it's called then it's not up to me to educate you or are you simply trolling. The latter is my guess as the name of the drone is in the OP or did you miss that bit. Did you actually read it?

Putin preparing his invasion of Western Europe, now that his income stream has increased?

Romania is a NATO country preparing the casus belli to invoke Article 5 and to instigate a kinetic war with Russia - rather stupid imho. EU elites in NATO countries are signaling their desire for a hot-war with Russia. The European and British hatred of Russia and Russians goes back centuries. Study history - Europeans are war-mongers and have marched Eastward to conquer Russia numerous times. Looks like they want to do it again. Be careful what you wish for would be my advice.

AI Overview

Russia primarily uses the Shahed-136 (known in Russian service as the Geran-2) for long-range strikes.

As I said. "There is basically one type of Russian drone used for long range one way strikes".

I don't tell you how to write your posts and I'd expect the same from you. If you don't know something look it up. Educate thyself.

"Educate thyself" is an archaic, often dramatic phrasing of the modern imperative "educate yourself." It emphasizes taking personal responsibility for learning rather than relying on others to spoon-feed you information.

I simply said "Russia basically uses one type of one way drone", of which the type is in the article. Not up to me to elucidate my comments further for your benefit.

If you want someone to provide further information try asking civilly rather than this.

"They are many types of dones being used for one !!! and it is not up to me to prove a post you made !! i am asking for a link to the type of drone being used that YOU claim but now can not prove !!! again your post is rubbish if you can not back it up !!!".

You'll find civility is most often reciprocated with civility. Again let me point out the type of drone used is in the article so no point for me to Google what type of drones Russia uses (complete list), post it and source it for your benefit.

Ridiculous. I said Russia basically uses on type of one way drone. This is NOT a false or inaccurate statement and is general knowledge. If I have broken forum rules then the moderators, not you, can make me aware of it. I think you'll find general statements are just that. General statements.

Very recently Russian officials have stated that Russia does not want war with Europe

but are fully prepared to goto war if the need arises.

This at the same time as the UK, EU, NATO countries talk endlessly about Russian aggression

against them and how military spending needs increasing and about bringing back compulsory military service..the continuous stream of propaganda pieces claiming Russia has attacked NATO countries that turn out to be either Ukrainian attacks or caused by Ukrainian interventions trying to invoke the NATO clause that would allow a full on hot war instead of 'just' the proxy war as it is now.

Sweden seems chomping at the bit to get in on the 'action'

https://nordictimes.com/the-nordics/sweden/kristersson-help-ukraine-direct-attacks-right-directions/

The prime minister then went further, saying that NATO should not accept what he called the Russian narrative.

– We should really not be open for the Russian narrative on this, but instead, of course, help the Ukrainians as much as we can to direct, to help them direct their attacks in the right directions, of course.

The statement raises questions about the risk of escalation. If NATO countries help Ukraine direct attacks against Russian territory, Moscow may interpret it as direct Western involvement in the war – and as a provocation from countries that simultaneously say they want to avoid a larger conflict with Russia.
