Why? Why on earth do you save up to go on holiday for a couple of weeks every year and then go and wreck other peoples' property? Something is mentally wrong with an entire generation. The WOKE has destroyed their fragile minds.

Buggerall to do with "woke", more like those bloody covid jabs and the psychological damage wrought on humanity by quarantine and travel restrictions. Forcing great gobs of otherwise sensible people deeper down the rabbit hole of social media, tik tok and the like. Now AI slop is filling the holes in their brains. Add spiked alcohol and tainted weed to the mix and....whoops! There's another idiot going tropo.

agreed. It's this sort of activity that is damaging the reputation of Thai tourism, and the lack of firm action by authorities. I remember awhile back on Samui I think, a motorcyle cop tries to ticket two aussie brothers, they take off, he catches them, they knock him to the ground AND TAKE HIS GUN! All caught on video. In th USA they probably would have been shot. I'm from Canada and they would be in jail for sure. I think they just got sent home. Crazy.

That was a shakedown, the cop was trying to extort several thousand baht for a minor traffic offence, when one of the brothers protested the cop pulled his gun and pointed it at him, then the other brother thumped the cop and wrestled his gun from him.

I have not heard that version .. they took off and the cop chased them. There was a lot of video taken at the scene. It sounds like a good story to defend what they did. If a cop stops you and you run then sure he might pull his gun, especially two against one. I'm no fan of Thai police but I very much doubt their story.

so he doesnt wear a T shirt,,, so that makes him a Brit.

Maybe, just maybe, the guy has just had enough of the crazy motorbike riders in Thailand including the foreigners. It is really insane the way people drive motorbikes in Thailand as if there are no laws whatsoever. While I would never inflict damage to a motorbike, I understand a person's frustration.

You don't go damaging other people's property, I don't care what country you are in.

Deport with don't come back stamp.

Benidorm Brits at it again.

Right. I was reading about it, they spent 4 months in jail. They are actually from New Zealand and their embassy negotiated to get them sent home. They got off easy after their family paid a large sum of money. You visit any country and are stupid enough to get in a fight with police I feel no sympathy.

They were not wearing helmets and had no motorbike licence. They rode thru a checkpoint. When they got back to NZ they lied to save face. Typical bogan scum.

They attempted to bribe the police too IIRC.

I recall when this happened the 2 NZ guys appeared to be far from victims!

Lucky their rich parents bailed them out. They could have just payed a 500 baht fine and moved on.
