The conference today is scheduled to discuss the country’s politics and national security as well as international communities’ confidence in Thailand. Mr Pasan adds that Dubai closely monitors the interim government’s solutions to the Southern problem. It also plans to strengthen cooperation with Thailand on import and export of Halal food, vegetables, fruits, and commodities. However, Mr Pasan says Dubai has still banned fresh chicken imported from Thailand due to bird flu. The consul-general also suggests that Thai businessmen should invest more in Dubai as it is the center of the Middle East markets.
