Death Toll Reaches 30 From Lat Phrao Fire

The death toll from the fire at the Lat Phrao entertainment venue, in Bangkok has risen to 30 after two additional critically injured victims died from their injuries. Authorities said a total of 75 people have been injured, while Chatuchak District has opened assistance measures for those affected.

The fire broke out at the Brewery at Lat Phrao restaurant, located near Soi Lat Phrao 1 on Lat Phrao Road in Chomphon subdistrict, Chatuchak district, Bangkok, at 11.57pm on 12 July 2026. The blaze resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries, prompting a large emergency response.

According to an update issued by the Chatuchak District Office on its official Facebook page, the latest figures were recorded at 9.00am on 14 July 2026. Officials confirmed that the number of fatalities had increased to 30 after two patients in the red category, classified as critically injured, later died.

Of the 30 people who have died, authorities have identified 27 victims, while three remain in the process of formal identification. Officials did not release further details about the identities of those who died.

The total number of injured remains at 75. Among them, 24 are classified as red-category patients with severe injuries, 15 are in the yellow category with moderate injuries, and 36 are in the green category with minor injuries.The updated figures reflect the continuing impact of the fire as hospitals continue treating those injured.

Amarin reported that investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing. Authorities are expected to provide further updates as the identification process is completed and the condition of those still receiving treatment develops.
