Becoming a sex worker

Featured Replies

A long time ago when I moved to a new city after a failed relationship and had no money, was couch surfing and hungry I got into the business. Obviously a lot more different these days, but I was a go go dancer for about 6 months until I made enough money to get settled and find a car and a job. I didn’t set out to do this, but when you have nothing you kinda lose yourself and this is how it started. Luckily it was for tips and not trips to a room. They made a lot more. The only way I handled it was being drunk and coked up. Not the best of times, but I made it through it and found a way out. Too many boys and girls get into the same situation and some I know paid the price.

Would I go out to pursue this line of work. No, but it was a good money and got me out of the gutters and luckily I knew when to stop and get a real job and education. It’s sad so many are being forced to do this to support their families and some do actually seem to like it, well parts of it, and are paid much more than many of their clients even make. I never treat a sex worker any different than anyone else. It’s a means to an end, and I just hope they know when it’s time to move on. Nowadays you have to be very careful about the clients and the diseases, but the professionals will cover all bases. It’s the naive young ones pushed into this situation that worries me. The ones paying are just as bad going from one to another. No difference really except your the one paying. Live your life and let others live theirs. And Yes you can take the bar out of a bargirl or boy. Don’t be fooled. Many have degrees and good jobs.

I am starting to think why white men from privileged white countries start these stupid threads, understanding nothing about poverty.

  • You'd need to factor in a HIV tax as you'd definitely get it being pumped up the backside every day
