More and more fakes on Shopee and Lazada

You know it's bad when they start selling knock-offs of other knock-offs.

Sorry to be an ahole, but why not take a walk to local shops all over the place selling mops? Why buy a mop on Lazada? But let me finish on a positive note. Thanks for the heads up on fake goods.

You just gotta buy from the official company stores and then no problems.

Had a couple of bad buys such as fake trainers, a fake Nokia phone a few years ago., but most has been OK, or I half guessed it was likely to be fake because of really cheap price.

Last week bought a gallon of Dettol off Lazada. Doesn't smell the same, and doesn't turn water white when mixed together. as real Dettol does.

Anything expensive, safer to go through Official shop. Even ratings can be faked.

Further to my earlier post. See above.

I recently bought some bottles of Shokobutsu shower gel from Lazada as they were 50% cheaper than in the supermarkets.

The bottles look different to those bought from the supermarket in that they don't have a threaded top. The gel itself has a different consistency, doesn't smell the same, and doesn't wash off as easily as normal.

Also the colours in the labels look slightly off. Now I am wondering if even these are fake. Even daughter has commented on it.

Can see in the photos below. The suspect one is on the left. Has no thread for the pump lid to secure.

You really still have any doubts?

They protect their scammers. Once you file for a return/refund you don't get the option any more to rate the product.

But I found a way around it. You have 7 days to open the file the return, but 4 days after you received the items, you will get an email to confirm you received the item.

Don't confirm that you received, because money will be released to the seller, but anyway on that day the option to rate will be available.

So you can give a negative rating, and still have 3 days left to start the return claim.

Also, have you noticed how many idiots write a 5 star review?

I have received the item quickly, it is very good quality............I haven't tried it yet

I wouldn't have thought it would be worth the hassle for something like shower gel, but it seems I am wrong.

I think there was a hint right there.

If they fake mops they will fake anything now. Shopee and Lazada are turning into Temu

So can anybody recommend a durable Mop and Bucket. I go through one maybe every 5 months or so. In fairness the mop and bucket gets used maybe 5 times a day... They all look pretty much the same on searches like Lazada... Just bought this one 690bht... Yep not expensive overall..just want better quality.. Can't find a good Western set up with maybe a squeeze mop instead of spin.... The Luv Machine does the work cleaning so if she wants a Mop she gets it....!!!!!
