If only the UK were still in the EU, this would be a case for the Dublin Regulation. But alas, the EU is a free place, where we do not stop countries -- and people! -- from leaving if they choose to

Didn't Nigel Farage run Rupert Lowe out of Reform because Lowe wanted deportations and Farage didn't?

No,

Lowe was really going to extremes and wanting families out for the transgressions of their offspring, many of which were born in the UK.

One of Lowe's most controversial positions was that, in the context of the grooming gangs scandal, he wanted to deport:

  • foreign nationals involved in the crimes;

  • dual nationals involved, by stripping their British citizenship where legally possible; and

  • in some circumstances, relatives or wider communities who knew what was happening and failed to act.

  • Lowe himself defended this position after Farage referred to it.

He was considered as going too far with his views, some of his expulsion ideas were thought to be bordering illegal or unlawful.

That would go one hell of a long way to helping the situation, and making all businesses pay heavily for employing them cheaply and illegally in the gig economy.

Expect thousands more when the buses from Southern Spain arrive at Calais with the Moroccan swimmers.

I wonder if we have enough vacant doctor and engineer roles to accommodate them all? I do hope so.

Yep we give the bone idle froggies half a billion pounds to sit on their fat gaulic arses.

Anybody who kept quiet and hid crimes they knew to be taking place by their families are co-conspirators. They should be deported.

What's so incredibly attractive in the UK for these illegal migrants? Why not set up camp in France or Belgium? The UK at any cost?

You can blame Farage for that. He spent years insulting them in the European parliament (whilst taking as much money out as he possibly could), he helped orchestrate Brexit which was a massive two fingers to France and the whole of Europe (as well as being a categorically stupid and self harming exercise and one of the major causes of this asylum problem). Then he expects them to do everything they can to stop the boaties leaving for England.

Admit it, if it was the other way round you would not want your government to stop asylum seekers who were actively trying to leave your country would you? Especially when you have no obligation to as the place they are going to is the very country that left your Union with all its controls and insulted you repeatedly. The French also have their JonnyF's and Les BarraMarras you know.

Hypocrites.

Access to the benefits systems

Illegal migrants do not get access to benefits.

They do if you are using the word benefit in the more general sense and not the specific social security sense.

We should blame Farage for giving half a billion pounds to the French? Surely it was the previous Government and the present one that has kept up the arrangement.

He's not to blame for that, no, but he is largely responsible for the problem in the first place and certainly has some responsibility for the French apathy towards things.

Why would the French go out of their way to stop a problem that is leaving their shores and heading towards the shores of a country that denigrated their union, left it for personal political gain, continually insulted them etc. We would do the same, wave the problem bye bye.

When we were partners, allies, it was very different. Treat them with disdain and reap what you sow.

Actually we do. Refugees that go from Northern Ireland to the ROI were promptly send back by the ROI and we accepted them, unlike the French. This was before the stupid one in one out agreement.

I don't get the point that you are trying to make. Yes the french are passing their scum onto the UK. The UK are too stupid to send them back. It is paying them half a billion pounds to sit on their fat gaulic arses and do eff all I don't get.

Illegal migrants do not get access to benefits.

What are these if not benefits?

They then go work in the ' gig ' economy.

They should be behind barbed wire in basic, and I mean basic, accommodation and deported as soon as their fake asylum claims fail.

Migrants arriving without authorization who claim asylum gain temporary access to basic state support while their cases are processed: temporary housing, a small cash allowance, and essential medical care. They do not receive standard public welfare benefits or an automatic right to work. [1, 2, 3, 4]

State Support and Housing

  • Accommodation: Basic housing such as initial processing centres, designated hotels, or hostels is provided while claims are reviewed, as individuals cannot choose where they live. [1, 2, 3]

  • Financial Allowance: A standard weekly allowance of £49.18 per person (or less if meals are provided in full-board accommodation) is loaded onto an ASPEN card to buy essentials like food, clothing, and toiletries. [1]

Healthcare and Education

  • Medical Care: Free access to emergency and necessary medical treatment through the National Health Service (NHS), including doctor consultations.

  • Education: Children aged 5 to 17 are required and given the right to attend local free state schools

So you don't think children should have the right to attend school? Sub human children scum.

And you don't think basic subsistence is a human right? £49 a week has to include food. If the temporary accommodation includes food then the allowance is £9.95 a week. They are hardly living the life of riley.

Oh, and by the way, fake applicants are deported.

Tax payers (the Govt) are already in debt, they can't afford, and are now suppose to borrow more money (raise the deficit) to accomodate non citizens.

You'll self destruct, be unable to support your own, but trying to save the world. People, tax payers, govts, need to live within their means. They are not, and the debt is unsustainable already. Adding to it, is suicidal.

Another situation that shows how the european union scheme has reached it's limits since Von der Leyen took over. The EU is bound to break up hopefully, as the dogmatic governance from Bruxelles is creating much havoc amongst western european nations.

What is highly disgraceful is how all those humanitarian ships who pick up the migrants at sea, are actually well coordinated with the mafia human trafickers and the humanitarian organisations who pick them up and exploit the loopholes of the European Union laws. No wonder there was a Brexit. No wonder people like Trump get elected. Because the regular Joe Soap's are, rightfully, just fed up with their respective governances in western Europe.

But let's also point out how Italy is giving out on Spain but not so long ago, Meloni legalized around 500'000 illegals and immigration workers to enter. Because all the farms and other low paid services in Italy is run by the illegals and migrants. The solution ? Wait and develop Ai and robotics to replace these menial jobs that will stop having to discreetly depend on the illegal workforce to run western economies.

So you would let them starve and punish their children by denying them basic human rights such as education? Says a lot about you, but you're a Trumpist so it makes sense.

I assume you have never heard of the UN Declaration of Human Rights.

They shouldn't be there at all, what do you think the UK is?.................. The benefits' system of the world?

By the way, there are very, very few children, these arriving are undocumented military age single males between 18-30, armed with mobile phones and designer clothes. It's well known the lack of women and children and is constantly reported in the news.

So don't try to sway people with that tried and tested, nonsense of an excuse that has already proven to be false.

Why should UK taxpayers foot the bill for illegal immigrants, most of which are economic migrants, by giving anything when our own, including servicemen with PTSD, are on the streets?

And even then, after this, they disappear into the system, fail to report for conditions, and go working in car washes, food delivery apps, etc

And your footnote, fake applications are deported, only after they've spent years at taxpayers expense and on legal aid exploring every loophole in the court system, from the courts right the way up to the ECHR.

They are assisted by devious lawyers whose sole intention is to bleed the legal aid system.

These stupid policies need to end, or the country will be bankrupt, yet again.

@josephbloggs obviously a socialist, they're great at spending other people's money or pledging money the country doesn't have.

Exactly, how can that not be benefits. It is like the anal people who persist and say the state pension is a benefit and not a pension. The Government has for its own reason chosen within the DWP systems to redefine the state pension as a benefit when we all know what it is pension. Let us normal people who have grown up with the English language use it in the general sense and not have the definition police dictate what words mean.

benefit /bĕn′ə-fĭt/

noun

  1. Something that promotes or enhances well-being; an advantage.

  2. Help; aid.

  3. A payment made by a government agency or insurance company to qualifying persons in time of need.

Thanks for the reality check. Sadly it will fall on deaf (actually deeply dishonest) ears and we will once again be subjected to silly lies about the military age muslim male invaders being helpless "children".
