That, of course, is entirely possible. A more likely cause might be wheat products, rather than carbs in general. After all, I do eat carbs every day, and have none of those uncomfortable aches or pains. Yet, when I break the diet and eat bread, noodles, or any other dish made with wheat flour, by the third or fourth day of eating that way, my body starts to feel old again. It's the stereotypical 'old man' feeling. It's purely anecdotal, but after seven years going on and off the diet, the data adds up. My body tells me how I feel. And I prefer not to feel like an old man, even though I may be one! 🙂 Let me recommend an interesting book. I read it after I had already stopped eating bread and noodles, and while it's not the greatest read in the world, it is accurate.
