Did the prostitute freak do anything wrong? Has it been confirmed that she was completely innocent, no threats, no extortion, no attempted stabbing

Did the prostitute freak do anything wrong?

I thought you were a better person than that.

Has it been confirmed that she was completely innocent.... How can a 40kg teenage girl be guilty.

no threats, no extortion, no attempted stabbing... Even if there were threats, attempt stabbing, extortion, no excuse to beat her head in, then stuff her in a suitcase to suffocate.

There is not any rational suggestion by any law enforcement in Thailand or Australia that this guy was involved in any heretofore unsolved murder and I emphasize RATIONAL.

With the "serial murderer next door" they have unsolved murders but no potential suspect to link to them.

Here they are starting with a potential suspect and trying to link him to any unsolved murder.

Not the same thing.

Well since he killed her unless there is video or recorded evidence somewhere we may never know. A little hard for a dead person to dispute the accusations against them.

No he's not innocent but hasn't yet been found guilty I'm court. Let's be honest he's guilty as sin!

Was there a knife? I think a good defense against a box cutter would be a pillow or a chair.

The guy could have run away from her.

If there was a box cutter it shows that is typically for self defense,it can be deadly but when swung around is usually to keep people away from you.

Did he have a scratch on him?

I don't believe him for a minute. If it was really self-defence all he would have to do is grab her arm and take the knife away. A big bloke like that against a tiny girl would have no problems disarming her. There was absolutely no reason to choke her to death. Even if he was choking her she would have dropped the knife when unconscious and he could have stopped before killing her. I think he murdered her because he knew she was underage and was worried police would be called.

What if his story is somewhat true ?

Even more reason to give him a life sentence or preferably death penalty on the grounds of being a 'Cheap Charlie' if nothing else

Saying he thought she was between 25 and 35 is the type of excuse made when accused of bringing an under age girl back to one's place, not when accused of murdering her. If she just followed him home, and he gave her 500 Baht for "nothing" then her age wouldn't matter, and bringing it up would suggest (along with the hand holding) that he did indeed ask her back, thereby placing even more doubt on the truth of his story.

Almost every serial killers are caught, some faster than others, and seeing this is a country where CCTV is as common as rice, getting caught is easier than other places. Disposing of a body from a hotel isn't an easy thing no matter what, especially with those cameras, and him trying to leave the country is what most would do, especially that he's a foreigner that will stand out here. He could be a serial killer that's actions are fairly recent, or this could be his first.

This bloke's storey has got more holes in it than the colander that my wife uses uses to strain the pasta .

500 baht for 5-6 nights ?

I paid her 500 baht every morning, so the extra 500 was for her to f**k off. Don't forget this was around 2002 so 500 baht for doing nothing was more than adequate.

"All I was trying to do was restrain her from stabbing me," he said, adding that she eventually "went limp". He said he did not call an ambulance or anyone else because he did not trust police.

POV: This is a bit weird point, as if you are attacked and completely innocent — still, he must have let the girl inside with him in the building and the appartement — you would call for help and not hide a dead body in a trunk by a railway track.

....I Read..."Died From Suffocation"... (?)

...Was She...Or Wasn't She Stabbed...(?)

Thai law on murder is very specific on intent.

What we would call first degree murder in US requires planning and premeditation and is the most severe.

A secondary murder charge is involved when inflicting injury upon the body of such person without intent to cause death and is less severe.

Simple question: Where is the knife with Tuanchanoks' fingerprints on them From the surveillance tapes the two were holding hands. Is that how a girl follows a man now? If he has a lawyer the better route might be to negotiate a plea and ask for mercy with a reduced sentence with the hope of returning to AUS someday.

If she attacked him with a knife where is the knife?

In the ABC Australia interview it is noted Mr. Carman does not yet have a lawyer because, if he had a lawyer, the first thing the lawyer would say to him is: SHUTUP!!

He did, on his arms apparently, which he blamed on spiders. He lies a lot, not very convincingly.

If what you say is correct he should have stayed in his room and waited for the police. Instead Carmen destroyed the alleged evidence, put her body in a suitcase, dumped the body, and then did a runner to the airport. No evidence of a knife or stabbing involved at the crime scene, just an autopsy report of a 17 year-old, 45kg soaking wet, being suffocated. No other injuries on her body to indicate a knife fight.

Plus it doesn't really matter she's dead, was stuffed ins suitcase, dumped near a railway track with the person seen wheeling the suitcase out of the hotel caught trying to leave the country, who when arrested spins a way-out story about self-defence.

But he innocent according to our resident pendant.

If Ripley's "Believe it or Not" was still published it would be the lead story.

You coward. I hope he never see the light of day.

Indeed- and his proposed defence is frankly ;laughable given the huge size difference

He doesn't have a proposed defense as he doesn't yet have a lawyer.

Self-defense is a judgment call as it is determined whether the response is to imminent and unlawful danger was proportional and reasonable.

It is this which makes Carman's story unlikely. A knife fight should have left injuries on her or him.

It is common for murderers to claim it was self defence. Here, on the balance of probabilities one would have to conclude it was probably not.

There may have been a dispute about payment, he may have been attacked and he then lost his self control and killed her in anger. Either way that is not a proportional response and it is an unlawful killing.

She was with me for 5-6 nights but never in the days. I found out that she was two timing me, so I gave her her marching orders and 500 baht for her troubles.

She wasn't two-timing you.

She's a working girl so any free time will be used to maximize profits.

Not a good idea to blur the lines between working girl and real girlfriend.

You must be kidding me. Any person with an IQ above 120 knows he's guilty and as far as I am concerned forget life in prison as in 20 years time he will most likely be released. As per the parents death sentence and that's it. I'll pull the trigger no problems.

Just one example apart from the knife. He said,"he believed she was aged between about 25 and 35".

Anyone in this chat site, after seeing her face, think she is that age, even though she is and looks like 17 of slim build and at least half this guys height and most likely a third of his body weight.

This scum could not lie straight in bed.

He had to use use lethal force to restrain a 40kg little girl.🤨🙂↔️

I wonder where his DNA sample was lifted from her body

His story can’t be true, he dumped her body and tried to run away, Does not look like a self defence to me, does it ?!!! Perhaps she tried to black mail him by her age to get some cash. If pays her parents and gets lucky perhaps gets 10-15 years.
