Canada gives Trump the right answer

Just curious...in Trump World, did Gen George Armstrong Custer also win?

I remember what Trump noted as his goals on 28 February. He achieved a sum total of none of them.

But the important thing, I guess, is that the demented old coot made a pile of money off of the war he started, trading equities and oil, and since self-aggrandizement and padding his accounts is his primary goal, I guess one could say he did win. That 18 service people died, upwards of 750 were injured, a $hundred billion was spent, according to some estimate, Hegseth is now asking for a 50% increase in the defense budget at a time when National Debt topped $40,000,000,000,000, nobody likes the US anymore, oil is still 40-45% higher per barrel than on 27 February.

I guess since Trump claims he won an election he lost is keeping in character (or total lack thereof) for him claiming he won that war.

Oh, and 168 elementary school girls are dead. Trump may be a psychopath lacking any sort of human empathy, but whoever pushed the button on that Tomahawk has to live with that guilt for the rest of his or her life. If you've ever been in combat, you might know that feeling.

Deflecting is your strongest virtue. Along with getting way way ahead of yourself (last election, state of the dollar and pensions being worthless, stock market tanking).

The final verdict has yet to be reached on the school bombing. Bad intelligence (you of all people should that), military facilities next door etc. Just like Hamas, military caches and headquarters in or next to schools, hospitals and areas of large civilian population.

War’s hell.

You know as well as I do Trump didn’t INTENTIONALLY target the school children .

Where was your outrage when Iran’s proxy blew up 200 plus Marines in Beruit? Did you crap in your diapers?

From an honest Canadian observer:

"...if it comes to a matter of Canadian military units having to fight their American counterparts in conventional battles, we won’t last long. Just one sharp attack could obliterate our limited military bases and infrastructure."

https://thewalrus.ca/how-a-us-invasion-of-canada-would-really-unfold-and-how-we-fight-back/

An invasion of Canada is not just what the founding fathers would have wanted, indeed tried themselves in 1774, it is a simple matter of 48 hours now. Canada is so weak. America is so strong. It would be the fastest war in history.

Just give war a chance, is all I'm saying.

Canadian officials cited last-minute U.S. demands targeting French language protections and bilingual packaging requirements as a major dealbreaker.

A clever lie by the Canadians, robustly rejected by the President himself on social media.

Trump loves French Canadians. Poutine is one of his favourites, this is clearly a fabrication by Carney and his minions.

Why do Canadians lie so much?

Of course, Ford and Carney won't be paying the price. That'll be ordinary Canadians.

Figures show the number of people living unsheltered has more than doubled in recent years – an increase of 107% between 2020-2022 and 2024. In Ontario alone, a report published in January by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario identified 85,000 people experiencing homelessness in the province in 2025. First Nations, Inuit and Métis people continue to be grossly over-represented in these numbers.

https://www.chrc-ccdp.gc.ca/resources/newsroom/two-years-after-landmark-report-renewed-action-needed-homelessness-continues

No doubt the masses of unemployed that Carney will be creating with his misguided posturing policy will further double and triple the number of homeless in Canada.

Poor Canada.

“No Kings “. Is so yesterday. Just like the Ukraine and Palestine flag waving.

They’re thinking of a new mascot. Should arrive in the near future.

I don't. Im pretty straight forward.

Former First Lady Barbara Bush wrote in her private 1990 diary that Donald Trump represented "greed, selfishness and ugly."

The Old Bat was right about that. 🎯

This article argues that war is not feasible, but Trump and the US will still manage to f*** Canada's <deleted> up. And maybe that's his objective. Maybe the US is a sinking ship, so Trump wants to take Canada down with it.

https://macleans.ca/society/canada-51st-state-america/

Why America Can’t Conquer Canada

Donald Trump’s nonsensical threats are an attempt to distract from his own country’s self-destruction

Ordinary Canadians must prepare, not for war but for chaos—economic, political, social, cultural. If your neighbour’s house is on fire, yours eventually will be too.

More interesting quotes from the same article:

It seems historically, when the US starts threatening Canada, it's because it has hit rock bottom and is desperate.

https://macleans.ca/society/canada-51st-state-america/

The last time America was in this much turmoil, during its first civil war, Abraham Lincoln’s secretary of state, William Henry Seward, proposed an invasion of Canada ...

We should fear American weakness rather than strength. And America has never been weaker in our lifetimes. It is barely in a condition to defend itself, or even to understand when it is being attacked. Sometime in the next four years, America’s enemies, rather than its allies, will pick their moment and pop the United States like a balloon. All it will take is a pinprick.

But then quickly go to the USA, quickly to Lake America, fight in the front line and die there as one of the first. For the glory of Trump and the MAGA idiots.

Is Cameroni a brave lion or is he just only a weak sheep with a big mouth?

Lol, Stephen Marche is a Canadian drama teacher. His article is dripping with cluelessness, he affects not to know what would happen in an invasion, when the Canadian military has modelled this and explicitly stated the Canadian forces would last no longer than 48 hours to a week. We know what would happen in an invasion. The US forces would crush Canada within days.

It's basically an anti-Trump polemic from a know-nothing.

The whole notion that Trump is entertaining an invasion of Canada as a "distraction" is ludicrous.

The reason Trump wants to invade Canada, Greenland etc, is because his conquering instincts have awoken. It just makes sense for the US to invade Canada, take 51 trillion USD in assets and the land. However, he is probably too old and weak now to follow through with it. Maybe Vance.

Don't forget.

There is also a theory floating around that the US may split into 5 parts.

Nobody knows what will happen.

But Trump cannot be taken at face value. He is the master of deception.

Also, maybe there ain't gonna be no Vance after Trump.

Martin Armstrong, an economist, crunching his data through supercomputers, claims the current modern form of governance will collapse by 2032.

And hopefully be replaced with real democracy.

Could be another crackpot theory. Who knows?

Trump is ordering Canada to end its laws protecting the French language.

Because I guess translating all labels on exports to Canada to French is too much hassle.

Thanks, and now soon the idea of "invading Canada" should show up from @Cameroni . 🙂

"The US invading Canada makes perfect sense. The US could just take the 33 trillion USD in natural resources the Canadians have. A good portion of the US national debt of 40 trillion USD could be paid off."

I doubt the $38tn would be used to pay off the national debt. There has not been an inclination to pay down debt so far. It might pay for a presidential palace in each state though.

Trump loves French Canadians and poutine in particular. The myth that America wanted to erode French language rights is based on a lie by the untruthful Carney, a slippery bankster.
