There's also the question of how long the Venezuelan people will tolerate the same autocracy and kleptocracy that existed under Maduro. Trump seems to be in no hurry to bring democracy to Venezuela.

Yes, it will take a bit of time, but if you want to make fine wine, you have to prepare to be patient. Nothing worth accomplishing is easy. That's what sets this president apart, no matter how hard, he will get it done. He's the modern day equivalent of Cecil Rhodes.
