Dutch Bank Moves 86 Tonnes of Gold Out of North America

Won't be safe if Russia decides to melt London! cheesy

Russia will definitely not do this. For a simple reason. I think you've noticed that Russia is negotiating only with the US. Lavrov explained why – because what's the point of talking to vassals? It's better to settle everything with their master in Washington. Who knows what the outcome of one orange politician's confidence that the stakes can be doubled indefinitely will be.

Therefore, the decision to withdraw gold from the US is the right one.

Your statement is unfounded and the result of a diseased mind. Israel has not had gold reserves since the sold it off in 1979/1980 and 1985. They don't need, nor want the physical asset. Many countries have reduced or disposed of their gold because they have other assets. Holding physical gold is an expensive undertaking and not necessary for most countries.

WOW, Patong. I think you went fishing. So let's pretend that the main goal of the Judeo Masonic cabal is to rebuild the third temple. And then we have the new Messiah driving his donkey into the holly land.

You are basically telling me that Jews do not like gold and it is too hard to store or hide. You can not stick it inside of your anus like it was done with diamonds during the terrific, terrible, horrible holocaust. But if you do a little research, you will find out that those temples had so many treasures, so much gold. Are you telling me that it was all made up? Fairy tales?

I never wrote that the decrease in gold prices started on 1 January. 😂

The graph I posted, which doesn't start on 1 January shows a clear trend of price increase in 2025, and a trend of price decrease in 2026 (according to the graph I posted, after the peak in February 2026).

https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/gold

As to the role of price and volume, you wrote:

"I noticed that the article you linked to was talking about how gold have tripled, but it was the dollar value that tripled, not the volume."

I understood that as a suggestion that the price increase were responsible for the increasing share of gold in reserves. Considering that Value= P×Q, if value increase and not volume (Q), it can be deduced that the volume increase is caused by price increase. As I wrote, it was likely the case in 2025, but not in 2026 (if you want to split hairs, from February 2026).

If you didn't mean that the price increase were responsible for the increasing share of gold in reserves, what did you mean exactly?

You could as easily say that sold declines every day, because it does.

I was talking about the 2025 articles you linked that used dollars rather than tonnes.

Doesn't anyone look into subjects before making a conclusion?

The Dutch still have gold in the USA and in Canada. Only 86 tonnes of its gold stock was moved.

The total Dutch gold stock amounted to 612.4 tonnes and was valued at €72.2 billion at the end of 2025, according to the DNB. Before the deployment, the Dutch bank held 31.3% of its gold in New York and 19.7% in Ottawa.

After the move, both countries account for 18.5 percent of the Dutch gold reserve.

The share of gold held in London increased from 18.1 percent to 32.1 percent. The bank still holds 30.8% of its gold in the Netherlands. The Netherlands has a very longstanding relationship with Canada, and has left a portion in Canada to support a contingency plan in the event of a local European catstrophe such as an attack from Russia.

No need to look into the subject. Just read the article and it says exactly what you quoted.

In essence, the Dutch now have one third of their gold in N America, one third in Holland and one third in London. Previously N America was more heavily weighted, particularly New York.

Sensible diversification is the name of their game.

i was surprised to hear that so looked around and this link says differently:

Just under USD 230B value, from relatively recent purchases.

As the price of gold has been decreasing in 2026, the increase in gold's share of reserves in 2026 cannot have been caused by gold price increase, as you suggested. Capice?

The gold price rise has certainly made the metal more interesting to many. The price pullback this year is small compared to the rapid rise in 2024/5 and fell only to $4k before rebounding again. China loves gold anyway and has been buying heaps since realizing its new economic and financial strength. More countries have decided to follow suit as, well as repatriate much of their old gold reserves. A loss of trust in the US dollar and economy has been another recent driver of this.

Your reading comprehension skills are quite poor. Are you actually this challenged, to put it politely, or are you trying to mislead?

The reference you provide does not say that Israel has gold reserves. The reference you provide is in respect to Foreign reserves, including gold. This is the definition of Foreign Reserve. Did you read the definition? When a country's foreign reserves are measured, they are including gold assets, if they are there. It does not mean that there is gold. Nor does the reference state that there is a gold reserve.

Canada does not have gold reserves. Look at the reference for Canada. https://www.theglobaleconomy.com/Canada/reserves/

An ignorant person shopping for something to support his bias would conclude that Canada has gold, based upon the same reporting parameters. However, Canada liquidated its gold reserve. Norway has liquidated most of its gold reserve.

Other countries have also disposed of portions of their gold reserve.

The Foreign Reserve Definition for Canada is identical to that of Israel:

Definition: Reserve assets are external assets, including monetary gold, that are readily available to and controlled by monetary authorities for meeting balance of payments financing needs, for intervention in exchange markets to affect the currency exchange rate, and for other related purposes (such as maintaining confidence in the currency and the economy, and serving as a basis for foreign borrowing). Reserve assets must be denominated and settled in foreign currency. This indicator is expressed in current prices, meaning no adjustment has been made to account for price changes over time. This indicator is expressed in United States dollars.

The reserves of Canada and other countries include their holdings of foreign currencies and gold. These are the reserves of the central bank and the treasury of the country, not the private sector.
When countries export products or attract investment from other countries, they receive foreign currencies. They use some of these currencies to buy imports and to invest in other countries. The rest is held in reserves and s
ome of the reserves may be converted to gold.

The above does not mean that a country has gold. Because the definition includes gold does not mean that a country has gold.

Not only is the ship sinking, Yagoda is also sinking, just like the Moron. The midterms will show it and then there will be crying and gnashing of teeth. Halleluja, amen. lol.

Yes, that's why I used the word 'value'. The reserve description indicates a mix of bullion and currency, that's what is misleading in this (Israel) case.

Looking back at your posts, they are quite insulting to me, personally.

You interpret what you like, how you like. I don't care.
