I need to add, Jews are if anything Arabs, that don't follow Islam, they consider themselves "Chosen People" and follow that/their religion.

Basically with a well oiled publicity machine which has been honed over the centuries, and spread all over the world.

Your hostility towards Jews, stupid conspiracy theories about them and casual use of racist Jew hating tropes is legendary.

Ridiculous!

Nobody would question the legitimacy of protests in Thailand about Gaza.

That's not what this is about.

Its about scapegoating ONLY Israel and now Jews with protests about tourist and expat behavior as if its only Israelis who.have behaved badly

Huge difference.

Not the same at all.

Bs there were protest yesterday about gaza and articles in the news about both types of protesters.

You cant separate whats hoping in Gaza from influencing the sentiment here when Israelis act badly here. Its blended together.

Other nationalities get called out regularly as well and you know it. Chinese, Russians, Cambodians but if a jew is named suddenly its anti-semitism because jews are special somehow??????

So when was there ever a protest at another embassy about tourist and expat behavior?

Crickets.

Israel scapegoated.

Jews out signs.

It sounds as if you support the scapegoating.

Israel isnt the scape goat for anything. If the Israelis that came acted appropriate you wouldnt have a protest and there wouldnt be any issues.

When come here and open illegal business catering to other Israel's and then act a fool its right to call them out. Perhaps the regular run of the mill thai's are sick of all of it. Add the beligerent attitude some have displayed and if Thai's want it to stop its there country. Pretty simple really. Israel's are not special and dont get a pass because they wanna play the hate card constantly

I recall quite a few protests against Chinese, with petitions offered to the Chinese consul or embassador.

Just keep them out of the country. Max stay 2 weeks.

Race doesn't exist but racism does.

Confusing perhaps to the terminally literal.

Race is a social construct.

Ethnicity is real.

So if you hate Asians for example you are racist even though Asians are not a race

To expand Thais are an ethnicity. If you hate Thais you are racist.

Jews are an ancient tribal ethnoreligious group.

I say racist Jew hatred instead of antisemitism for reasons I've explained before.

Dress it up anyway you like, Jews are from the Levant, same as the Palestinians, same people different religions, Jews just had better P.R., until recently, now 2,000 years of proclaiming they were "chosen" has gone down the Jordon, because the rest of the World has woke up.

That is probably one of the most absurd statements I’ve read in a comment in a long time. And you know that perfectly well. You can’t seriously claim that saying the mood among many Thais towards Israelis has become increasingly negative is somehow “misleading” and doesn’t reflect reality.

You can’t seriously pretend that you’re unaware of the various and, in some cases, deeply disturbing incidents involving Israelis in Thailand, including threats and insults directed at Thai people – among them incidents on Koh Samui.

As we all know, Thais are generally a very peace-loving, polite and harmonious people. It takes quite a lot for the mood to change to such an extent that people actually take to the streets, as happened with the demonstration outside the Israeli embassy in Bangkok.

No, the statement that Thais increasingly dislike Israelis is not “misleading” simply because you don’t like it. There are concrete reasons behind this growing resentment. It is a sad reality, whether you like it or not.

And by the way, stop bringing Goebbels and the Nazi era into this discussion. It has absolutely nothing to do with the issue and is a completely irrelevant comparison.

What total idiocy!

So some Israelis are the ONLY nationals who have badly misbehaved?!?

If you think that, there are no words.

Yet ONLY the Israelis embassy and Jewish religious events targeted for protest.

Dude -- do you even know the definition of SCAPEGOATING?!?

I find your post that intentionally distorts what i said out of context. so ridiculous that i prefer to let it stand as is.

I waste enough of my time responding to more coherent posts.

Nobody is obligated to respond to each and every flamey bait.

In other words, you have no defence to claiming "Scapegoating" by Thai's and others on here.

If anything you are scapegoating the Israeli's who have caused the Thai's anguish with their actions while in the Kingdom.

"scapegoating"

Meaning: People use scapegoating to avoid taking personal or collective responsibility and to deflect guilt.

  1. Origin: The term comes from an ancient biblical ritual on Yom Kippur, where a real goat was symbolically burdened with the sins of the community and driven away into the wilderness.

  2. Synonyms: Fall guy, patsy, whipping boy, or target.

Your post is absurd.

Let's get real.

We're in Thailand.

People of all nationalities misbehave here.

Not only Israelis.

Do you even ger that?

Yet in currernt news ONLY Israelis and Jews are targeted for protest and a massive wave of intentional demonization on social media.

SCAPEGOATING. I have no idea of the Yom Kippur definition. That was a cheap shot.

You know what it means in modern usage and for some perverted reasons you're heavily invested in denying reality.

I kind of know your reasons and it is not pretty.

Sure thing buddy:

Yes, Israelis and Jews are currently facing scapegoating in Thailand, driven by rising anti-Israel sentiment and misinformation, particularly related to the behavior of some Israeli tourists and the ongoing conflict in Gaza. This has led to protests and negative perceptions among segments of the Thai population.

Argue the politics in the Middle East elsewhere.

Also I have nothing to do with Israeli government policy so stop baiting.

This topic is about what's happening in ThAILAND

To repeat again,. I have no issue if Thai people want to demand more respect and better behavior from ALL foreigners even though frankly we as foreigners have almost no rights so where is the Thai respect for us?

It is their country though of course and we can leave it if we want.
My objection is the false narrative that the problem is only with Israelis.

That is objectively very false and it's very unfair to scapegoat only Israelis and Jews about bad behevior here.

As far as Gaza, west bank issues, of course Thais have every right (we don't) to protest about any foreign government that they want. No problem with that.

The problem again is the obvious scapegoating about bad behavior of tourists and expats.

To add, first they came for the Israelis....

Xenophobic hyper nationalism tends to expand targets.

Ignore the behavior of Israeli tourist acting $hitty but get butt hurt over protests about behavior just because your special and no one should take offense or be concerned about it? Got it.

That's the mentallity and attitude that created the situation currently in Thailand but its Thailand’s fault right or is there a global conspiracy afoot we need to be aware of ?

Here's another one for you, from Google: List of Israeli actions that have upset Thai's in Thailand?

Growing tensions between local residents and Israeli nationals in Thailand have fueled public protests, strict government crackdowns, and diplomatic discussions. Local frustration centers around alleged illegal business activities, cultural disrespect, public misconduct, and instances of entitlement.

Hospital Emergency Room Storming (Pai): An incident where a group of Israeli men stormed an emergency room at a hospital in the northern district of Pai drew intense backlash. It was viewed as highly offensive toward Thailand’s overworked healthcare system and led to immediate fines and deportations.

Public Indecency at Sacred/Natural Sites: In late 2025, an Israeli couple was arrested after being filmed engaging in sexual acts at a public waterfall on Koh Phangan, sparking widespread condemnation for violating Thai norms and disrespecting natural spaces.

The "Israeli Territory" Incident (Phuket): During a routine inspection of a Jewish Chabad House in Patong by the Thai Interior Ministry, an Israeli tourist confronted Thai officials and explicitly asked, "Don’t you know this is Israeli territory?" The remark went viral and caused massive public outrage in a country fiercely protective of its national sovereignty, prompting a sharp response from the Interior Minister.

The list goes on and on.

Yes, I agree there are other Nationalities are doing unlawful acts, high-jinx and drunkenness , but nowhere near the Israeli's conduct of late, and it didn't upset the Thai's anywhere like the Israeli's have.

You have no objective information comparing Israeli misbehavior to others.

You pay attention to the Israeli misbehavior, it gets wildly inflated and exaggerated in social media and I'm sure your personal algo is a doozy.

That's a lie.

Talking about embassy and other protests targeted ONLY at Israelis and now even Jews and their sacred religious observance.

That's called scapegoating and yes it has now bled into racist Jew hatred.

You aren't required to see that as wrong. I do it that's OK with you.

For some reason?

Most of the protesters in Bangkok and Phuket are visibly Muslim in a minority Muslim country.

There is talk now of banning Israelis..

People expect that in Islamic countries like Malaysia.

Do you favor that?

What would it do to Thailand's brand as a land of smiles tourist magnet if they did that?

From my POV they should just enforce the laws they're currently enforcing against lawbreakers of any nationality

I don't think this current situation will help Thailand.

I hope they take a chill pill.

There are good and bad people among all nations.

You've probably hit the nail on the head, Thailand does have a Muslim minority, that lives all over Thailand with no problems, except when the Malaysians kick off, down south, and I have no doubt that that is possibly part of the problem with Israel, then again a lot of the rest of the World consider Israel currently a Pariah State, in my opinion.

No country has banned Israelis for bad behavior.

The bans are in Islamic nations not recognizing or opposing the Israeli government.

If Thailand were to ban Israelis over tourist and expat behavior it would be major world news and I think bad for Thailand's image

Again just enforce the laws regardless of nationality and move on from this madness of Jews out signs and ruining religious observance for Jews in Thailand.
