So there was rescuer on the boat like it says in the report?

Watch the video he jumped on after the Patriots boat was attempting to take control of the empty dinghy.

From the ever sensationalist socilist Guardian:

KNIFE ATTACK ON DINGHY

In footage livestreamed to his followers, Thomas can be seen stabbing the inflatable several times as air escapes from the vessel.

A rescue worker wearing high-visibility clothing and a helmet was on the dinghy at the time. Not just hi viz gear, there was thermal gear and a personal floatation device. The worker approached the rubber inflatable after Thomas did and he was supported by his crewmates in their Fast Rescue Craft, very close nearby. Sea like a millpond.

The footage does not show what happened to the rescue worker after Thomas's boat moved away. Thomas did not attempt to slash the "worker", who was well equipped and escorted but seemed more worried about recovering the outboard motor than potential harm to himself. Nothing was shown later because there was nothing to see.

The incident has prompted condemnation from refugee charities and triggered a police investigation. Of course it did.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said officers were making inquiries into the boat-slashing incident. Of course they were.

You are correct.

There are no legal routes to apply for UK asylum from outside the UK. Under United Kingdom immigration law, an individual cannot apply for asylum from overseas, as you must be physically present in the UK or at a UK port of entry to lodge an official asylum claim. There is no "asylum visa" that permits travel to the country for this purpose.

I don't know about anyone else but to be a country that accepts asylum seekers but offers no route other than to land illegally seems to be, well, stupid. Or, it's purposely set up that way. Hmm . . . let me think about which it might be.

Oh dear, think about it for a moment. Never mind that the 1951 Refugee Convention only gives obligations for when people arrive on your shores to claim asylum, it grants no obligation to process asylum claims from anywhere outside of your territory. So if anyone shows up at an embassy abroad to claim UK asylum there is no legal obligation to process it - you can tell them, legally, to naff off.

So yes, it is purposely set up that way. For good reason.

But it seems you would rather people could claim UK asylum from anywhere? Imagine how overwhelming that would be!

Something tells me you didn't think this through.

So you think anyone should be allowed to sail around and slash things - people within them or not? Just go around on the seas and slash things up, and that that's not worth the police looking at?

What kind of a world do you live in?

You guys are incredibly naive. Talking of which, did you donate yet?

These Invaders might have been at Sea for over 36 hours. Landed undetected by Border force just allowed to hit the beach then run off no one knows who they are or where they went.

What Patriot? THE RNLI are way in the background, no other patriots in shot.

Do you have eyes? He was on the boat before Danny Thicko reached it, and well before he started slashing it. And there will be lots of other videos from different angles that the police will obtain.

He's going to be in serious trouble for this one. Better start begging for donations for his legal fund if he hasn't already.

Well, if it's an empty dinghy and no one is at risk one can always manufacture a whole dinghy full of 'victims'. As long as the story goes round and no one bothers to verify the facts then the facts become that Danny Thomas endangered a whole dinghy full of helpless illegals. Yeah, it's sly. Yeah, it's devious. Yeah, it's fake. But it works. Enough people fall for it. And that's the entire point.

No, I didn't say that. But the real problem is, Joe, that it's already been seen that some occupants of these boats who have been allowed to stay in the UK have already been found guilty of slashing innocent people in Britain - and worse. The naivety is all yours.

For the Lefties that were howling and bashing buttons like demented chimps throwing dung, dribbling verbal diarrhea about dinghies not being escorted by the French / Taxi service

A total of 51 migrants have arrived in Dover on a small boat after spending more than 30 hours at sea.

All good so far

The boat left the Normandy coast on Monday morning and the French coastguard, which shadowed it, said the migrants were in "precarious conditions" and refused help as they were "determined to take all risks to reach" the UK.

Shadowed by the French who offered help and it was refused

British rescue boats were sent to collect those on board, who were then transferred to Border Security Command.

Why were rescue boats sent from the UK, when no one needed rescuing and were being shadowed by French vessels.

Ready to vent your spleen over the lies being told about the poor migrants that were in grave danger ?

Take it up with the BBC

I'm not sure people do fall for it.
I know boomers typically do and always will believe anything the idiot boxx / BBC/ Telegaph / Mirror etc says but
Younger gens have a decent grip on how theyre being manipulated / lied to.
Increasingly media savvy and aware of bots armies, bot accounts, paid shills (look up UK Govt '77th Brigade' -  a British Army information & psychological operations DIVision), fake / planted stories / plotlines to manufacture YOUR opinions and behaviours etc..

It's why I think there's a VERY good chance this guy Danny is on the payroll (along with T. Robinson).

Cos the real winners in a Yookay race-war scenario wouldn’t be any of the people actually throwing bricks.

It would be the same soft-handed, over-credentialed, permanently alarmed class that already runs the place.

Chaos is their favourite growth industry.

Here's the menu of lovely new powers they’d quietly serve themselves:

Emergency powers and curfews become permanent “temporary” measures.

First it’s “just until things calm down,” then it’s “for public safety,”

then it’s just the new normal.

Entire postcodes locked down at 9pm because some committee decided the vibes were off.

You want to walk your dog after dark?

Better have the right paperwork and the right skin tone for that particular street, mate - that is IF you're still allowed dogs in that postcode.

Surveillance on steroids.

Facial recognition cameras on every corner that used to only watch the high street now watch your living-room window.

Phone location data handed over “voluntarily” under the new Public Order Continuity Act.

Every WhatsApp group flagged if more than three people complain about the same thing.

Privacy becomes a luxury product for people who already live behind gates.

Enforced zones.

“No-go” and “protected” areas drawn on maps by people who have never set foot in them.

Certain neighbourhoods officially designated “high-tension community management zones.”

You need a digital pass to enter, exit, or buy milk.

The same civil servants who spent years denying two-tier policing suddenly get to formalise it with nice colour-coded maps and funding streams.

Expanded enforcement apparatus.

More police with fewer constraints, more private security firms on government contracts, more “community liaison officers” who answer to the Home Office rather than the public.

The Met gets shiny new toys and the legal cover to use them.

Arrests for “online incitement” spike while actual street violence is managed with press conferences.

Narrative control upgrades.

The Online Safety Act gets emergency amendments so any footage that contradicts the official story can be throttled in real time.

Independent journalists and livestreamers find their bank accounts frozen “pending investigation.”

The BBC and the rest of the legacy outlets become even more explicitly state-adjacent information management organs.

In short, the establishment doesn’t fear a race war the way ordinary people do.

They fear losing control.

A messy, visible breakdown lets them tighten every remaining screw under the banner of “restoring order.”

More cameras, more permits, more zones, more curfews, less privacy, and a population too exhausted and divided to notice that the people writing the rules never have to live under them.

That’s the real prize for the managerial class: not victory in any tribal sense, just a bigger, thicker, more permanent cage with them holding the keys.

Classic British decline strategy - crisis into career advancement and call it competence.

I'll grant the 1951 Refugee Convention was set up that way but it still doesn't answer the question of why in heaven's name applications for asylum can't apply from anywhere? What difference does it make whether they're processed at a UK embassy our in country?

I'm trying to follow your rationale but it still doesn't make sense.

If the reason is that the system would get overwhelmed as it's much more difficult to make the trip first and easy to apply from a home country then it would be set up as a barrier. Which hampers legitimate asylum seekers and may force them to survive persecution until they can find the means to leave. Are you truly trying to help people in danger then? Or are you simply protecting the system from overwhelment as a convenience to they system?

I don't get your "good reason."

You raise some valid points. Corruption is so pervasive it's difficult to know sometimes what's truly going on as we rarely get a peak behind the curtains.

Just one comment about boomers. I can understand how some boomers have given the generation a bad name but throwing them all under the same pejorative blanket doesn't work. Why? I'm a boomer. There's a lot of good boomers like me out there. Be gentle when you speak of us.

AI:

No, the migrants had already been safely evacuated from the dinghy when Daniel Thomas (known online as Danny Tommo) slashed it. [1, 2]

During the incident in the English Channel on September 22, 2026, the asylum seekers had just been transferred onto larger RNLI rescue vessels. The black inflatable dinghy was empty of passengers, though it was still full of discarded lifejackets and was drifting in the water. [1, 2]

Invaders are what they are Invading a country from Sea. Undetected and just allowed to run off. The Police were notified a boat was coming ashore off the Folkstone beach, were they instructed to seize the invaders no. They never turned up till they had ran off. Yet when a boat was escorted into Gosport harbour Plod were there to meet anti migrant protesters and were arrested. A video is shown picking up these invaders to be transported to a centre in Dover to be processed and likely transfered to a Hotel.

But had they arrived in UK illegally? I would imagine not.

Articles like the OP consistently (deliberately) frame the rubber boaters as 'migrants' rather than the factually correct "ILLEGAL migrants". It's the 'illegal' bit that causes the problems.

I would welcome any migrant to the UK who arrives through a legal route.

It’s not illegal to enter the UK to seek amnesty as a refugee.

I’d have to back and check your posts on BREXIT to determine your views on migrants arriving by a ‘legal’ route.

Tommo provides the police with the evidence against him.

As thick as they come.

Sorry, I don't need AI to watch a video for me, especially unattributed AI - I prefer to watch it myself. I didn't say there were migrants on it. I did say that there was a rescue worker on the boat before Danny Thicko pulled up alongside, and without a shadow of a doubt he was there before he started slashing it.

But seeing as you don't trust your own eyes but prefer AI to watch it for you, here you go (and I include the question so you know if it was loaded or not):

But seriously, just watch the video, it really is much easier.

And to think he posted the evidence against himself, himself. It's an insult to mince.

True. But the question is whether the majority of these invaders are legitimate asylum seekers. If they're coming from France I'd say no. They've already escaped their country and are in a safe country. Of course it's simple common knowledge that most of these illegals are pure economic migrants, if that. And that's not a valid reason for seeking asylum.

Well the border Police who are supposed to protect us, they can't even detect boats coming across the channel, plod are only interested in arresting locals demonstrating against the illegal invaders so what do we do to protect ourselves ? The only way is to fight back if it means people going out slashing boats mid channel so be it. The Invaders will soon realise this will happen if the attempt to Invade us. They decide to accept the risk so accept the consequencies.

The Yookay establishment is obviously 100% into and likely behind it ALL.

Migrants for cheap labour for their big business donors.
Extra bodies to prop up land and housing values (again benfits the 0000.01% disproportionately)
Extra Crime = they can bring in new controls and laws esp criminalising the 'white working class' who the establishment have feared and hated since the peasants revolt.
Breed the whites out with more docile, lower IQ, and easier to control 3rd worlders.

BUT

60% on here seems to think the Oxbrige educated politicians and social engineers are 'stupid'
and that they just need their stupidity explained to them 🙄

Or the other

35% seems to think the migrants are honest and just escaping war 🤣
