Build the overpass and if you want to use it or not at least its another choice, its up to you then its your life. :o

I think an under pass might be better, people don't like going up stairs much. :D

As people have said on this thread a underpass would be too expensive as you would need drains for the flood water in the rainy season. Also its a nice place for nasty people to mug you :D

It is very hard for people to cross 2nd road safely when all the crazy drivers are coming at you at break neck speeds :D The overpass is the only 2nd choice you have as its not expensive to build. To put a island in the middle of any road in Thailand will result in more accidents they would just smash into it while pissed up. :o The red traffic light as we all know does not stop everyone how many people would be killed and you would never get a traffic cop to sit there all day :D So as I have said if you want a safe 2nd choice it has to be a overpass. :D

Why not do what a friend of mine done some years ago. He used to stay in soi diana but liked to drink in the wonderfull bar (soi 13 - i think) However, he hated crossing 2nd road after he had a few - so to avoid crossing the road he got a room in soi yamoto - why complicate matters :o
