Time Spent On Thaivisa

Featured Replies

How many hours a day or week etc do you spend on ThaiVisa?

Do you think that it is healthy for you to spend this amount of time, scanning recent posts, reading text from a computer screen?

Does any part of your life outside of ThaiVisa suffer because of this?

Your thoughts please.

i live here !

gives me a headache some time but some great posts and good to keep up with banter

headache just from the ads slows down dramaticly the spped and the apearance of the site ...

i would be happy to pay for ads free version (and well this would generate some serious income .. as i anyway never click on a banner) ;-)

Myself, probably about 6 or 7 hours per week. Whilst i get some pleasure from it (obviously otherwise i wouldn't be doing it!), i have to say that were it not for work forcing me to sit at a desk with some idle hours to kill, it certainly wouldn't be my first choice of leisure activity. The heavy users you come across on the site, who do seem to be spending so much time on here by choice, do make me wonder. Is there really nothing better to do?

Since I can neither drink or smoke at my computer, I'd have to say it is one of the least healthy things I do!

lol, seconded.

I spend time on here that I could probably be using more productively elsewhere. Like on porn sites for example.

When I'm at work I spend quite a few hours on Thia Visa. PC is on 24/7 when at work. And basically, if you spend a few months on Thai Visa, you will see the threads repeated over and over again, just like I have seen this thread many times before. But, it's this or Porn sites, and I'm going blind. :o

When I go home to Thailand, I very rarely use Thai Visa, I have a host of other things to do in Thailand, sitting behind a PC monitor is pretty low down on my list of things to do.

Fair play to those that do, but it ain't for me.

I ONLY look at Thai Visa while working and never during off hours.

It is something interesting to do in between customers. :o

With nearly 6,000 posts, do you ever get any work done?

Does any part of your life outside of ThaiVisa suffer because of this?

there is no life out there.... :o

If it brings you pleasure or commaradarie with others & useful info & challenging discussions, it is healthy for your intellect as well as your typing skills(note my poor spelling skills!)

Too much time on a computer could be rough on your eyes - other than that can't see any thing bad about it!

I consider visiting TV similar to visiting the zoo. Can be an interesting distraction to see what the animals are up to.

I keep Thaivisa open in the background and pop in every now and then, so I suppose actual time on here is around an hour a day. But hey, I enjoy it and I have made loads of on-line friends, some of whom I have met in the real world. Everyone of them have been great people...

I have been a regular user of TV for past 6 months or so. I originally posted as I needed views and info. on different subjects. Now I log on as I like to read the posts from people living in Isaarn with similar interests to me. Some people seem to post a lot but if that's what they enjoy then why not. I reckon I'll use TV less and less as same subjects keep coming up and I pretty much have found the information and views I needed.

Always, like to read about peoples day to day lives though.

No television, can only visit so many places in one week, pubs in daytime not my scene, sitting outside drinking beer in daytime also not good so look TV and internet as well as the computer.

Bad for me? Nah.

Walking in the heat is worse.

Also can be good fun looking in on TV and news and stuff on the internet.

Maybe 2 hours a day on TV itself.

Right now in Tokyo, 3.35 am.

Am I wasting my time?

Probably, but I have frig all else to do, plus I get paid a great salary for being here.

:o

Average of 6 hours a day(I do not sleep very much),TV is interesting, sometimes funny and ....cheap.

I do the same, mostly while i studying. There are sometimes that i have forgotten to log out so it seems that i have been on thaivisa for 3 days without getting any sleep at all... :D:o

umm..2-3 hours a day.

usually night time because it's peace and quite..

i like to read about what people think about my country.

so far it has been very intersting..indeed! :o

Not sure how many hours a day but like Suegha, I have also made many new freinds which without TV would never have met & to a person have all been great people & a pleasure to socialize with :o

Everyone with over 1000 posts needs their head examined.

I sporadically spend five minutes per month on tv... or thereabouts....

:o

*don't chekc my post count... It's all lies.
