Woman kills husband, boils p*nis & hangs self

NAKHON PATHOM - A woman said to have mental problems hacked her husband to death with a hoe late Saturday night and cut off and boiled his p*nis before hanging herself, police said.

Police said the woman, Preeyapha Tasuwan, 37, left a note saying she killed her husband, Rangsan Supakpattana, 46, because she believed he intended to leave her and marry another woman.

Rangsan's daughter, Amporn Supakpattana, 22, who lived separately, found the bodies when she came to visit her father, police told reporters.

Police found a bloodstained hoe near Rangsan's body, which was lying on the floor near his bed with deep cuts to the head, chin and throat. His windpipe was cut.

Police said the man's severed penis was found being boiled in an electric cooker.

They found Preeyapha's body hanging from the room's main beam.

A portion of the woman's suicide note read: "When we loved each other a lot, you never reprimanded me. You asked me to stop working as a prostitute and I obeyed. But recently, everything I did was wrong in your eyes. After I became sick and went to receive treatment in another province, you kept your distance from me, and now you are going to have a new wife. I can't bear this, so I have to kill you so that we can live together forever."

Amporn said her father had been married to Preeyapha, her stepmother, for four years. Amporn said her stepmother had recently been suffering from mental problems and was on medication.

She said Preeyapha's relatives had taken her to receive treatment in her home province of Uttaradit. Rangsan went there to bring her home on Saturday.

Investigators said the evidence indicated that Preeyapha killed her husband while he was sleeping.

She first struck him with the hoe on the head, sending him tumbling down onto the floor, where she hacked him two more times on the chin and throat, they said.
