Bangkok taxi drivers may not know where Nongprue is, better tell them you want to go to Pattaya.

There's a taxi desk outside arrivals that will have a fixed fare to take you.

The price is fixed at 1,400 (including tolls) if you use the taxi stand.

Could you be a good sport and explain how we can get a taxi for only 1,000.

Easy, we got our taxi guy from pattaya to come pick us up, 200bt more than going but still cheaper than aot prices. Cost us 1500 special price save 500 bt at airport before then so we decided against any more "special offer prices".

More info eh! Well there is a taxi meter stand corner of soi 4 and 2nd road. They took us 1 way for 800 baht plus 60 baht for tolls. Coming back he organised a car to pick us up for 1,000 baht plus 60 baht for tolls.
