Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry injects Bt300 million to set up more local wisdom centers

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives injects more than 300 million baht to set up more local wisdom centers. The ministry expects that the centers will help create sustainable development in the agricultural sector in line with His Majesty the King’s initiatives.

Deputy Minister of Agricultural and Cooperatives Rungruang Isarangura Na Ayutthaya (รุ่งเรือง อิศรางกูล ณ อยุธยา) discloses that the ministry’s seminar on the operation of the centers was arranged to exchange knowledge on HM the King’s new agricultural theory among local philosophers across the country. The ministry has increased the amount of money to support the centers from 60 million baht to 300 million baht.

The ministry sets the target to establish 100 centers on local wisdom nationwide.

Mr Rungruang says more than 10,000 people have received agricultural training from the centers.
