hi, I'm german, since 18 years on a non-imm."M" visa as I'm female and married to a thaiman and heared about this ใบต่างด้าว but the local imm.officer couldn't give me any informations how this permit differs from the general permanent resident visa and what requirements are asked for. Anybody who's got it? Thanks!

It is issued at the same time as a permanent residency and has to be re-validated every 5 years at your local police station rather than the immigration department. It is generally called "Alien Book" and has a red cover.

I think it is just the permanent residency book.

Anyway, as a foreign female married to a Thai male, you are eligble for applying for Thai citizenship without having to gain PR first.
