True/orange Phone Recording When Requesting Balance

Have you heard the recording, when calling to get one's balance on True mobile phone service (used to be Orange)?

There's a womans voice with a Chinese accent thick enough to cut leather. the first few times I heard it I could not decipher any one of the dozens of words. After awhile, I got a handle on a few of the words. One has to suffer through it in order to get to the Thai voice (sweet and understandable) that gives one's balance.

Is this the voice of the future? Even a robot could ennunciate better than that chick. ....hey, maybe it is a robot.

Is this the best that TRUE can do. Sad state of affairs, if so.

To get your balance, press "#123#" then enter. Its free and you don't have to listen to the recording. If you think that recording is bad, try calling the Major Cineplex, at 02-515-5555, to get the current movie schedule. I understood about half of the recording after listening to it about 4 times.
