Cans Of Compressed Air

Featured Replies

I'm always reading in computer geek articles about how I should use cans of compressed air to clean my PC's, key boards etc.

Some of these articles are written for readership in Thailand, so I was wondering if anyone had ever come across them for sale here.

Any information will be gratefully received. :o

I have seen them for sale in Big C and Zeer rangsit! Just about any computer store will be able to get some for you.

Amorn, basement of TukCom South Pattaya...

Bloody expensive air though, over 100 Baht for a can :o

Connect the hose of your vacuum to the ext. port and control air flow with fingers at the other end.  Use a small soft paint brush to carfully knock the dust bunnies and webs loose.

4th / 5 th floor at Fortune somewhere near the shop that sells good quality components near IT City. 100 Baht a go.

when i was back stateside a couple weeks ago, comp usa had them for like $4-$5 a can so B100/$3.00 doesn't sound so bad.

At Ban Mor the price is about THB 70.00 and goes up to about THB 130 (Nattapong) for the german imported one!

It's actually not air but refrigerant (so it can stay a liquid at room temperature and reasonable pressure). Environmentally, it's a terrible waste to use that stuff. I'd use a small compressor first if it is at all practical, but YMMV. A vacuum works better, as it actually does something with the dust rather than just blow it somewhere (potentially deeper into the computer).
