Outboard Dealers South Thailand

Featured Replies

I am located in Samui, but the lack of marine shops and options here forces me to look elsewhere. I am looking for a marine/outboard engine dealer in the south, Phuket, Surat, Krabi etc. I'm in the market for a long shaft tiller outboard, 40-50Hp 2 or 4 stroke. Any ideas?

Hi, Yamaha seem to be the major player in the outboard motor game here in Thailand. I think your best bet would be in Pattaya. I tried to get my 200hp Yam fixed and in the end it had to go there as nobody down in the south could do it. Cheers Dunc

So I have found. The problem that I have with Yamaha is that the Thai Yamaha distributor (Watchara Marine) only carries certain models, ie nothing between the 25 and 50hp in the 4 stroke range and only the old stock, out of date 2 stroke models in the 30-40 hp range. There is a Tohatsu dealer (Surapol) in Phuket, but he has no long shaft models left and must order minimum one container, which he will not do...yay. Cheers -
