I was wondering if anyone knows if I will be able to get yellow ginger (root) shipped (without the soil around it from Hawaii ) to Thailand.

I know the regulations within the states are no native soil with the shipment within the U.S.Also I was wondering if I could ship blackberry shoots(vine) to Thailand.

Thanks again guys!

I mean Plants sorry about the typo!

I dont know about the legalities, but here's my personnal experience.

My parents brought me 2 apple tree's from England.

They got them from a reputable nursery.

The branches & roots were pruned back extremely hard & the roots were scrubbed clean.

They came with European plant passports.

When they got to Chiang Mai my parents were stopped by customs.

They unwrapped the tree's & presented the passports.

The customs guys seemed a bit baffled, smiled a lot & let them thru.

So I'd say whatever you try to bring in, make sure its clean & got some official looking paperwork.
