Hello everybody and sorry for my english.

I am a retired with 1 year permit. I show, last year, 800,000 baht in my bank account to got it.

Now, starting 1 november, my wife (farang) start a job as food manager in a restaurant. Her income will be 50,000 baht/month.

Can I -in order to obtain a new 1 year non immigrant 0 permit- show in my bank account only 200,000 baht instead of 800,000??

I think: my wife 50,000 baht/month= 600,000 baht/year + my 200,000 baht in bank account TOTAL 800,000 baht.

thank you.

No you will still need 800,000.

Unfortunately the join-income rule does not apply to retirement extensions, you still need the 800k or 65k per month pension income.
