Any Reliable Broadband Services In Thailand?

Featured Replies

I'm losing patience with Buddy Broadband. I'm frequently getting international download speeds of less than 200k at night when having paid a subscription for 1 mb. Website pages often don't download until several attempts are made. You can't watch videos online as they pause every few seconds. VOIP calls are of a poor quality because of the bandwidth problem. Reverting to a dial up connection is often better for general surfing.

The service was quite good in terms of speed when first trying it out but has since deteriorated.

It is also now quite difficult to get through to their Customer Service much of the time although when I do manage to get through the staff try their best to help. Management unfortunately hide behind these poor staff as I have found it impossible to contact anyone in authority.

Any suggestions of a more reliable service at reasonable cost or is it basically that all service providers suffer due to the abysmal broadband speeds in this country.

Im using ToT 2mb. VOIP calls are very smooth even during the day.

Watching online video are good at night. Btcomet downloading at 200kb/s at peak.

So overall its good for me. but for the price im paying in BKK, i can get 30mpbs speed in Singapore.

Well, this is thailand.

In BKK I am using true and very happy with their 1Mbps package. Also keep in mind that you are not mixing bytes with bits. :o
