Mobile Phones In Singapore

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just a quickie - we are off to Singapore next week to get our visas sorted - my wife and I currently use AIS prepaid 1 2 go sim cards in our phones - can we buy similar cards in Singapore so that we can use or phones while there ?

Thanks

Phil - (resrea).

Yes, you can, Just go to any 7 eleven store

Ask for Starhub prepaid card, it cost about SG$17 each

Also remember to bring your passport with you cause you need to register your id upon purchase

( to prevent terrorism )

it's S$ 18 actually.

Which means you should take care of this transaction prior to turning your passport over to the embassy.

Many thanks to everyone - and a big thank you to ovenman as I would definitely have thought to get the cards immediately after I'd dropped our paperworkoff at the embassy - my mind being exhausted from the ongoing pursuit of time in Thailand,

Cheers,

Phil.

(and apologies to the Mods for posting this in the wrong forum).
