How To Import 'contacts' From Outlook Express To Google.

Featured Replies

I have read Google's help menu and it says I have to create a CSV file before I can Import my 'Contact's.

Is there a way of creating a CSV file from all of my Contacts that are currently in Outlook Express (not Microsoft Outlook) without manually typing in hundreds of Contacts to an Excel Spreadsheet?

I did it once, but from Microsoft Outlook, not from Outlook Express. It was a two-step process:

1. In Outlook, export the contacts to a CSV file. The file gets saved on my hard disk in a folder I select.

2. In Gmail, import the CSV file.

Check if Outlook Express lets you export the contacts to a CSV file.

I am late, but yes you can export from Outlook Express to CSV,

by using the feature Textfile (commas as separator).
