Firefox Update Issue

Featured Replies

Happily using Firefox for a long time, until this evening. When I started my browser I was informed that a Firefox update was being installed. I now have v. 2.0.0.8., and the formatting of a number of different pages, including TV is all messed up. Most of the shaded areas that made it easy to navigate and make sense of are gone now. When I view in OE everything is fine. Anybody know what the cure is? Really irks me as I was perfectly happy with the previous version.

I just clicked Edit and then Error Console and see that there are all kinds of errors listed for the Thai Visa pages I have been viewing, parsing, etc.

I should have waited before posting, sorry. I ended up closing FF and reopening it and now everything is fine. I don't recall seeing a message instructing me to close and reopen, but perhaps I missed it.

Cdnvic--thanks for the link!

Also happened to me on both my office computer and home computer today after the update occurred. But after 2nd page load it is normal now. Possibly a temporary caching issue with FF.

To add to cdnvic's recommendations you might check out Firefox Environment Backup Extension. This allows you to backup everything through automatic scheduling.
