from about 4am my maxnet connetion has been completely down

anyone else having similar problems, I know difficult to get a reply unless you have an alternative connection

cheers monty, you must be on a different gateway, I just called them and without any prompting was told the server is down, probably making some changes which I'm sure I won't like..............what a place

Monty is using corporate accounts and that's running on different servers! So no wonder that he's able to work normally!

No, mine is working but weirdly.

some sites access fine (Thaivisa for instance) others immediately get a "page cannot be displayed" (gmx, USGS.gov for instance) but when I try to connect to them later they come up.

Sounds like dns problems, I use opendns, so my internet might look fine when others using the TT&T dns servers have problems...
