Casio Camera Repair?

Featured Replies

Hi All!

Anyone know if there is a Casio digital camera repair agent in Bangkok?

Wifie lent our camera to the Thai neighbors as they were going out for the day and it came back broken. Unfortunately the neighbor didn’t tell us it was not working anymore, loss of face perhaps, so I didn’t find out till I came to use it myself.

We have to go to Bangkok next month and would like to get the camera seen to by Casio service agent. Have “Googled” but not much help there so any Bangkokonians know of an Agent?

Thanks

Just take it to any reasonably sized photographic shop and they can send it off for an estimate - or they might even undertake it on premises. Either way, it'll probably be pretty cheap. As with car repairs, the labour for mechanics is very low. If you want to take it direct to the camera repair shop, i have seen some around Chinatown, but all the effort and time to save a bit of money not worth it.

Thanks I got those two but their web sites were not very Casio or camera repair related. Perhaps there are other “cmg.co.th and jjsea.com” companies or sites?

I’ll get wifie to call those numbers later but just though there might be some leads from personal experience.

Yea! Ms D phoned them and found out exactly where they were, half way up a high rise office block. Anyway they looked at our camera and said that it would cost about 6K to fix and really would not be worth it.

Fair enough as the camera cost just over that new. Good quick service from Casio.

Daffy.
