Any Budding Lighting Experts Out There?

Featured Replies

The first stage of turning the empty, leased land adjacent to my house into a 'park' is now complete.

The 3 Rai of land has been cleared, the perimeter fenced off, with about 2/3 of a rai laid to grass with a small mound in the centre where I will erect a pre built, Thai style sala. I have put in a primitive sprinkler system which seems to work quite well, and the far end of the plot now has banana and papaya trees growing.

I have knocked a hole in the wall of my garden and put in a gate, and there is a small path which starts at the bottom of some concrete steps and winds it's way through the lawn to the (soon to be erected) Sala.

I want to run power to the lawn area, and would like to do something creative and exciting with lighting, but have no knowledge of this kind of thing, save the bog standard coloured par lamps that I use elsewhere in my 'proper' garden and beside the pool.

I don't want to spend a fortune on expensive lights - as it is only leased land, but really need some advice on this.

So if there is anyone who has a talent for exterior lighting design, there's a few cold beers for any suggestions proffered. :D

Thanks :o

A friend of mine is electrition and lives in the area. Details in the PM

cheers
