Where is the best place to invest in buying an apartment in Thailand?

One important consideration would have to be that nobody would be in it for a lot of the time, so security would be a concern.

Ideally, it would be inear a place with an airport. If the best place is also with a sea view, that would be perfect.

If you have spent much time looking around in this area, i would be v grateful for a few pointers!

OK, if it is necessary to be more specific, the most sensible place seems to be Pattaya- near the sea, has an airport, not far from the capital, big expat community.

I would suggest you look around in Pattaya. It is not only close to the airport but also offers a great sea-view. Also, I would also suggest that you should look for condominium in that area. Besides, Rayong would also be a good choice, as it also close to the new airport.
