Learning Thai In Phuket

Featured Replies

Hi, Ive just moved to Phuket and having spent the last two years in Thailand, Bangkok and Krabi Town, my level of Thai is really quite pathetic. Does anyone have any recommendations for one to one learning/classroom learning in the Tarua area off Thetkasatri Rd to the airport. Further afield not a problem, Phuket Town for example.

Think ideally I would go for one to one, at home maybe as reckon this would be best way to fast track my Thai speaking ability, but prepared to be persuaded otherwise.

Off to UK in December so looking to get started on my retrn, visa gods permitting, in January.

Cheers

I took a month of private lessons at Patong Language School. Its in the development behind Talat Arun Som. It was a bit pricey but it helped me get started pretty well. Then staying with my girlfriend in the ensuing 2 years has helped even more.

I need at least a intensive course on speaking Thai.

Is there any contact for the school I can call to check out?
